I think I'm the only non-broody Bumpkin here! Although I did have a dream Nij said he wanted another last night

Well my Sis is having her anatomy scan today so i'm a littler nervous. She has some blood results coming back today, hopefully will find out or and prob finds out the date of her c-section. So its kind of weird I may find out if I have another nephew or niece and when they will be appearing! My secret bet is she is having a boy so will see this aft hopefully!

I think that there was a little boy called Samuel who was due to be a bumpkin but he was born really early, cant remember his mums username though.

Dropped Phoebe at nursery for her first settling in session - first without me - earlier. Picking her up at 11.30 and am counting the minutes! She was crying when I left her so hope she has been ok! Really like the place and staff so am sure they will be taking good care of her but I can't wait to have her back with me. If I'm feeling like that wonder how she feels

Its so nice when you go and collect them and you get a look or a smile as if to say "Ah! Mummy!" - even if they have had a nice time. Hope she had a goog first time on her own

She was happy enough when I arrived to collect her though cried when she saw me! They said she had cried a bit but had also played quite happily. She had done a lovely picture - first of many - and they said she had done well for her first time. She is going again tomorrow afternoon x

im feeling so emotional today :'( just keep thinking "this time last year my contractions had started" :'( i miss it sooo bad.

Also the fact that in less then a year i have lost my mummy, i remember how she was when i had dexter :'( and she should be here celebrating his first birthday!

Hopedance That was a shock when Samuel arrived! There are a few more on the OP Baby.Love did but I haven't seen many of them around much. Could be interesting to track down Flora's old thread when she was announcing all the births!

Taylorsmummy- Sounds like you've had a hard year with losing your Mum

Kte- I'm with you in the "non-broody" camp I still want another at some point but not for a while. I used to think we'd ttc in the new year but I think we'll push it back further since I'm in no rush (still no AF yet anyway!). Hubby actually brought up the subject twice last weekend- is it possible for men to get broody?? I think it was just that his work buddy's wife's water had just broken on Friday and it was their second child and it got DH thinking of having another too. I hope your sister's scan goes well!

Bingers- I hope Pheobe settles in quickly at nursery

Flora- happy belated birthday! Sounds like you have a nice day planned for Harry's birthday. Still have to decide what to do for Emma's brithday (other than celebrating with the family on the weekend).

I'm enjoying a quiet morning with Emma. The little boy who is the same age as her is part time and finished for the week and the older boys aren't here until after school so it's Mummy-Daughter time. The last 3 days have been rough with the new LO starting daycare but Emma adjusted amazingly well to having another kid the same age as her around- I thought she'd be jealous but she's been fine. They seem to be on alternating nap schedules though- good and bad- good that they both get some individual time but bad that I don't get any down-time.

Hope everyone is well- I still haven't had my coffee or breakfast so definitely time for me to get a move on

Kte im not broody either, i thought i would like another one but with all my course work im doing to get into uni next year it would be the completely wrong time for another baby. Plus im shattered now im on my own running round after chloe and sam and working full time and course work lol yes definitely no more babies here for a while, especially since 2 psychics have told me my next pregnancy will be twins - i aint risking it lol!!!

Thank you! So far so good lol he didn't get much off oh's family just clothes! He got stack and surprise silly center off mummy and daddy and a stack and sit to stand musical bear play center thing off big sister Taylor! And lots and lots of balloons lol x

I get so giddy this time of year, sorry if I seem far too excitable!

Chloe is 11 months old! Yep, 11 and 1 year in the same month Confusing!

Jo: I wouldn't risk it if they have said that either! I have known a few people see them and they can be pretty spot in sometimes! So much so I'm too freaked to go see one! Certainly sounds like you have lots going on as well

TaylorsMummy: Glad its good so far It's funny, as I kid I thought 'i'm never getting clothes as presents for my kid!' and now I'm thinking, ooh I could get her clothes Sounds like he has done well, hope you continue to have a fab day!

Well the step spotting has paid off, Chloe is moving her feet more, she even stood solo and kind of step tuned yesterday!

Kte- Happy 11 months Chloe and WTG Chloe on the first steps! Emma did some a few weeks ago but hasn't attempted them again since- it's like she decided "yep, I can do that but crawling is faster so I'll practise walking some other time". I know what you mean about saying that you'd never buy clothing as a present but now doing it- I sometimes wonder if I'd be into buying clothing as much if Emma was a boy though.

Geesh, just looked at my calendar for planning next week and I have 3 birthdays in the daycare Considering there are only 4 kids, including my own, that's a rather high percentage, lol. Made planning the week easy though- lots of cake baking, decorating and celebrating going on. Kinda sucks since it'd be nice for Emma's birthday to be more of an "event"- selfish of me, I know, but it is her first birthday after all

So what are all you lovely ladies up to this weekend? We are planning on heading back to the lake on Sunday to close the caravan up for the winter cry: means summer is truly over!). I have to pick my parents up from the airport tonight- they are returning from a trip to the west coast and Alaska and have warned me that it'll be mini-Christmas for Emma (apparently my mother needed another suitcase to get everything off the cruise ship that she bought ). It'll be nice to see them again though.
