Kaites, hugs for you and Emma. Hope she feels better ASAP. Not an idea pre-Christmas situ for you and your family. How are you dealing with your daycare kiddies, or don't you run the daycare during the hols?
My night out on Fri was good. Just two glasses of wine, as I still BF Monty before breakfast in the morn. Plus any more than that would go straight to my head these days, and I just don't think I could handle the mere thought, let alone the real thing, of having a hangover AND a baby. Urrrghgg, what a horrible horrible thought
Was a bit concerned, as my friend there on Fri came in to the pub and told me her older daughter had a tummy bug. Arrrgh, I have since spent the past 48 hours worrying about every little twinge in my abdo area, worrying that I've caught the bug. I absolutely hate puking, I'm getting worse with it, it's almost like a proper fear these days. I get really stressed about it rather than just letting it all out. Need to get over it I think, because I'm sure as Monty gets older and starts mixing with more kids, he's bound to have lots of tummy upsets and pass them on to us. AF is also due, so of course I've had LOADS of twinges! Because I didn't want to risk that potentially I could infect all my guests, I have held off doing any Xmas cooking this weekend. I think I'll wait until lunchtime today just to be certain and then I might get on with some more.
Still not actually sure whether any of our guests will make it, so we're putting loads of stuff in the freezer and then it can simply stay there for a bit if they can't get here after all.
Unless either of us gets offered any work this week, we're both off now until the new year, which is quite nice I have to say, so we're trying to get lots of things ticked off the to-do list. I LOVE doing things on my list
Don't think I've read on here what you're all buying the babies for Xmas. Monty isn't having a great deal from us - I don't see the point of buying masses at his age, as he'd be happy playing with his boxes and wrapping paper as much as anything else. So he's got various woolly socks and slippers, an all-in-one waterproof (eBay bargain, looks good as new), some books (eBay bargains) and an ELC workbench (a fiver off eBay, looks unused). I'm definitely in the camp of people who believes that babies do not have to cost a lot of money, even at Xmas
OKeydoke, off to do another task on the list. See you all soon xxx
