Oh Kaites hunni massive hugs. Kawasaki disease is not nice. She will be just fine.

Merry christmas everyone!

Awww Kaites.. poor Emma :( I read up on it and although it aint nice it looks like it can be treated easy enough. Sorry she has to be on hospital over Christmas .. but hopefully it can be treated soon enough and you can go home and have your own special Christmas day and have Daddy dress up like Santa for her :)

*Hugs* to you and Emma x

Hi everyone, hope were all well, just a quick one to wish you all a very merry xmas, and i hope 2011 is a great year for everyone xxxxxx All the best Bumpkins & Babies xxx

Happy Christmas Eve!

Hope everyone is having a good time with their babies and families :hugs:

Still at the hospital- they are now not entirely positive that it was Kawasaki Disease  It might have been, but now there is another different rash on her arm that is their main concern. Last night was pretty traumatizing for her- woken up at midnight and then a new IV had to be put in her foot (ran out of veins in her arms/hands). Poor pumpkin seemed afraid to go back to sleep so we were up until 3am. Lots of naps today though. FX'd we get out of isolation tomorrow afternoon and maybe home by Monday- all depends on this new rash... I'm bored out of my mind now  Anyhoo, I'm sure I'll be around at somepoint tomorrow but Merry Christmas to those out celebrating ;)

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Hope Santa was good to all the kiddies and mummies :hugs:

Santa brought Emma a teddy this morning and she was actually full of smiles for him- turned out to be the same Santa that she saw in the mall last year (the guy is an amazing Santa- kind face, real white beard) and I could tell she recognized him from the picture of her on his lap that she loves looking at on our mantle :cloud9:

Awh Kaites, I'm so glad santa was able to visit Emma and cheer her up :flower: hugs:

good evening

Hope everyone is having a good boxing day. I managed to escape the hospital but just showered and made some food to keep at the hospital- no shopping the sales this year! I think we're all getting a bit bored (okay, that's an understatement!!)- Emma wants to get off the bed and walk around but has an IV in her foot so she's getting frustrated and irritable. Her arm is looking a bit better now so there is talk of us springing free on Tuesday :)

Fingers crossed you able to get out on Tuesday, certainly sounds good that Emma is wanting to get out and about :hugs:

I was planning on taking Chloe to some shops today, just to get out but I forgot the pram was in Nij's car as well as my coat with the house keys in :dohh: I do have back door keys but it means the shop is off! Ah well, its sleeting outside anyways so not much fun!

Hope everyone had a good christmas. James was very spoiled this year. Will try to upload a few pics later. Went out to the shops today but it was absolute mayhem and all I bought were some crayons lol.

Afternoon all :flower:

We managed to get the the shops today, I really wanted some glue for Chloe but could not find any at all, it was weird! Only Wilko's was open mind but they used to have some in there but they just moved the layour and its too confusing! Sad eh!

LK: Has James done any creations with his crayons yet?

Kaites: Hope its nice to be back home, Im sure it is! Are you having a delayed Christmas at home now? :flower:

Chloe did well for Christmas too, the floor is currently covered in musical toys and building blocks :dohh: She is really good though and try to put on lot of toys away before she get the next lot out. She has a shape sorter toy that has keys to open the compartments to get the shapes back out of and its really cute as she walks across the room holding it saying 'ta' so I can get the shapes out for her. She also got a rocking cow which she likes to rock rather than sit on and a donkey head on a stick (that sounds so wrong - a stick donkey instead of a stick horse) which totally freaks her out!

Not much else going on here, it was nice to get out for an hour - oh silly me forgot to say, we got Chloe some reigns. She is so insistant on walking now, she wanted to walk around Wilko's which was fine until she stopped listening to us and then screamed every time we picked her up, we saw some reigns on the shelf and that was it! So then we took her for a walk around town, handy as its shut so quiet and she loved it, she saw a pidgeon and said hello! :cloud9:

Good afternoon :)

So nice to be sitting in our own living room, Emma flipping through her books. Seems like we've taken a few steps back with mobility though- her arm is too sore to support her weight and she's pretty weak so she's not walking very much either. But she's all smiles, happy to be at home, so that's all that matters. Still on meds for a while yet (wreaking havoc on her tummy too) and more doctors appts to come but hopefully the worst of it is over.

Kte- I think we've decided to "do Christmas" over NYE/NY day. Only change to xmas will be that MIL is absent- she'll be in Oz visiting SIL :happydance: :haha: Chloe sounds cute with her shape sorter and walking around town :flower:

LK- Is James enjoying his crayons? Emma loves art projects and they seem to start off well but then eventually curiosity always gets the best of her and she starts eating them :dohh:

Well, I should get off the computer and back to work- back to running daycare tomorrow so I should be planning :( Pretty much my whole holiday was spent with a sick baby.... Anyhoo, grocery shopping and maybe a trip out to Ikea are the order of the day for me while hubby has some Emma-time later  This whole Emma episode has only furthered Emma's position from "daddy's little girl" to "daddy's little princess"! It's sweet though :)

James loves his crayons. Was doing some drawing yesterday but after about 20 minutes he decided he would have a taste to see if the orange crayon tasted like orange lol.

Evenin all

Well day before yesterday we went back to my Sisters which was nice, hardly seen her all year then twice in as many weeks! She only has about 7 weeks to go now, so one nephew's birthday and then new nephew on the way!

Yesterday we went to MIL and FIL's again for a meal as it was FIL's 70th birthday on the 29th. They seemed in realy high spirits, it was really nice, shame its not always like that, I would cope much better! They have booked in again on Sunday so fingeres crossed the mood has lasted! We also saw Chloe's god parents and their little boy, Chloe and he loved playing with each other, its really cute seeing them interact, he is 3 and keeps on calling her 'baby Chloe'.

No plans for NYE tonight, hope everyone is having a good one no matter what you are doing, from recalling the last Bumpkin year here is hoping to a much much better 2011 than 2010, although it did have some good moments! :hugs: :flower:
