Morning all,

Congrats again Jo on your engagement, I did see / comment on your FB. Mighty pretty ring  :flower: Any date set or has it not sunk in yet still?! Hope you hear soon for the interview! :flower:

Eswift: Sorry to hear your OH's family are being as they are :hugs:

Argh the cats are driving me bonkers! I think, that they think, they (how many 't's lol) should step it up a gear since Chloe isn't here! I called my Mum and Dad last night and my Dad said 'she doesn't stop does she?!, always investigating!', this was as she passed him another bottle of my Mum's nail varnish to him saying 'ta' :haha: :cloud9:

We did a really thorough job yesterday, I bet it was at least 6 bin bags and counting, couldn't believe the crap we had kept, we even found 3x big value cola bottles in a bag that expired Feb 2009 - iw! Made my guts ache just looking at the stuff :haha:

Well, can't wait for Chloe to come home but the front room is an absolute bomb site now with moving 'crap' around. Lots of ebay stuff! But were are giving things 5 days and then if no joy, off to the charity shop they go. Feels good!!!!!

Here are a few pics of Chloe's more spacious and organised bedroom :happydance:

Hi girls. Well I am now able to get on a bit more! Parents are away for 5 weeks so I pinched their laptop lol. James is really unsettled tonight. He knows something is going on and its really stressing him out. On the upside we had a wonderful day on friday with my mum and dads vow renewal. I even quite like some of the pictures. Will try to get some on here once James finally chills and I can tidy up.

Kte - it sucks being away from them doesn't it? I hated being on nights cos I barely got to see him. Her room looks awesome. I desperately need to sort James's.

Jo - congrats hunni. Keeping my fingers crossed for you x

As promised here is a rather gorgeous photo of James in his little suit....I am dreadfully biased and have to say he is adorable lol.

LK: He's looking very suave! All our little Bumpkins are growing up far too quickly! :flower:

Morning!

Just a quickie from me- babies are napping :happydance: Hope everyone had a good weekend :) We went skating on the canal- was good but turned out to be a bit different than I had expected. We had big plans for towing Emma in her little sled since she loves it so much around the neighbourhood but as soon as we got on the ice, it was major meltdown time. Turns out all she wanted was to walk on the ice and it worked out pretty well actually- her slow pace matched my rusty skating skills nicely :haha: She was cute though, making her little "zoom zoom" car noises the whole time. I guess the people whizzing by quickly reminded her of cars or something! It was cold but fun :) I think hubby and I are going to get the grandparents to watch her next weekend so that we can head back out for a skate and maybe even grab a bite to eat after.

LK- cute pic of James- very handsome :)

Kte- Wow that's an organized room (puts me to shame :haha:). Hope you are enjoying your day off today :flower:

Jo- Sounds like the interview went well- that's cool that your aunt gave you the heads up on what they were looking for too. Congrats on the biology coursework too!

Flora- hope Harry's molars are doing a bit better :hugs:

Well, I should be getting back to prepping lunch. Hope everyone is having a good day!

eswift - he is getting weighed next week so not sure how big he is. He is in 12-18 month clothes so not overly big. Size 4 feet.

He is a poorly boy again tonight. I got home from work at 9 to be told he was a bit hot, went up and checked on him and he was awake and very hot. Brought him downstairs to check his temp and it was 39.9! Cue panic from me and both calpol and nurofen to try to bring it down. Checked his temp again at 10 cos he perked up a bit and it was down to 38.5 so a little better. Trying to get him to settle back to bed cos I want to get some sleep tonight so he is in his cot in just a vest but he is grumbling in there. Trying to ignore him and see if he will settle cos he is shattered and rubbing his eyes. Will be setting alarms to give regular calpol and nurofen I think. Then drs in the morning if it doesn't settle.

Hope James feels better soon. Gosh im tired today must head to bed soon otherwise im going to be very tired when J decides to wake up.

Kte Chloe's room looks great.

LK ~ Hope he's ok after a good night's sleep...

Fraggle ~ You take care to rest when you can!

I tried to sort through the stuff out of the garage yesterday, Can't do it; ended up with my Asthma playing up. Closed the door on the room, told OH when he got up. Kind of got the feeling he thought I was making excuses. Until DS can home and moved his lego out of the room, leaving the door open. Off I went again... Cough cough wheeze wheeze...

He then told me to stay out of the room, make sure the door's shut and he'll sort it out Friday... Then spent the rest of the time before work telling me what could be setting me off! MEN!

Oh well, have a great day all...

Morning all,

LK: Hope James is feeling better :flower:

Eswift: Hope the Asthma is better today :flower:

Fraggles: Hope you managed to get some rest in :hugs:

Well we had a trip to the drs this morning. James slept in until 10.15am and gave me a heart attack! Took his temp again and it was 39.6 :( So gave him some calpol and off we went to get checked out. They have decided its a virus cos ears, throat and chest are all clear. Just got to give him drinks straight from the fridge and keep up with calpol and nurofen. So don't think my planned trip to Sainsburys is going to happen :( Shame cos I was going to have a cooking day today.

Hello ladies

I'm sorry I've not been on much - only just had time to get on here in any great amounts of time. I'll try to catch up but thought I'd pop on and let you know we're alive and well

The move went well - been here a month today! Crazy

I'm still working at the call centre but I am looking for more work closer to home as it's still keeping me out of the house 11 hours a day. I'm off at the moment until Thursday on monster-manning duty as his childminder doesn't start until Friday - Hubby is back at uni so we're officially here! We were really lucky to find a CM literally 2 streets away and she had space to do all the hours that hubby is at uni and that's it! - keeps the cost down and the hours with Daddy to the max!

Earl is officially off the formula and has slept through for the 5 nights he's been off it! It's official- it was the formula that was keeping him from sleeping through- as backwards as it sounds, it's true! He's on cows milk entirely now and no bottles. I've got to get him some vitamin syrup stuff when we go out tomorrow, but apart from that we're all good!
He's also gone up another clothes size (right in the middle of 18-24 months up to 2-3 years now!) and is nearly grown out of hit cot so we're buying him his toddler bed tomorrow from kiddicare......I'm sure that will make the next couple of weeks eventful! :dohh:

I think that's pretty much it.....oh and we're officially NTNP! We decided in the new year that we should as my pill ran out and it seemed daft to get it re-prescribed. I've got my next blood test tomorrow morning and my smear booked for monday, as this month we're not 'trying' as otherwise the LO would be due at the same time as Earl's birthday and we'd like to avoid that if poss. So starting next month we're actually TTCing! Bonkers really.

I've been looking at nursery places for school, is anyone looking into this yet. I'm tempted to call the local school and have a chat.

Hope everyone is good and we're all doing well and had a good Christmas and new year! Hello to everyone who's been asking after me and thanks KTE for the message. I've been thinking I should come on and re-join the bumpkins but keep forgetting.....finally done it.

Must go and bath the munchkin.....the big zing is about to start which means it's time to go and run the bath lol.

Speak soon!

yay, aimee, we're NTNP too! I'm hoping to get pregnant again april/may time for a 2012 baby, but we'll see what the fertility fairy (lol) brings!

Just did a mega clear out of harry's clothes & got rid of all the 6-9's as he's in all 9-12's & some 12-18 tops now. I hadn't realised just how many clothes the little dude has got! :dohh: His molars are coming through slowly but surely. They're giving him some pain but not too much luckily & he's still eating/drinking/sleeping ok so it's all good.

How's everyone else doing?

Nice to see you back aimee

Gosh I forgot what one handed typing while nursing was like. The tandem nursing seems to be going well. J is a milk monster and N is happy having his EBM.

N had jabs today so slept all afternoon, they wanted to do the 12 and 13 month jabs together but no way :nope:

Its funny hearing about all the sizes of the kids N is still mainly in 9-12 months he has some 12-18 clothes but most bury him.

Its funny hearing all this NTNP and TTC talk. I think im done in that department

lol, let's hope you're done for a few years Frags! :haha:

Harry's just a shortarse, so he only just outgrew the 6-9 trousers, lol, but everything else he's been in 9-12 for a while & some t-shirts he needs 12-18 in now, depending where they're from.

I meant to ask- has anyone got any pics from xmas they wanna share? I'm really curious to see how all the bumpkin bubbas look these days?

Earl's just such a little fatty. All his 12-18s have been packed away and he's well and truly into 18-24s now and I'm shpping for 2-3 years which is quite frankly scary and also a little bit upsetting as it's hard to get cute clothes for him that don't make him look older than what he is.

My pics from christmas are on my FB - I'll put some up later on- got to go and order this bed! lol

Aimee   Wow size 2-3 already, I know my Sis used to shop at Sports Direct for older ages clothes that have more character stuff on etc as she hated how grown up clothes looked on them too (my nephews), not sure if they would be suitable for Earl yet, might be worth a peek? :flower: Glad everyting is sorted, Hubby's Uni, Move etc :flower:

Nursery place wise, we had Chloe booked into the local School from around 3 months old  Best bet is to call the School as some take names down early and others wait :flower: I love the nursery she is at now but when it comes to proper nursery age it's going to be more practical to move her closer to home I think . . . argh I'm undecided! Will have to cross that boat closer to the time, many things could change, at least she is where she is and her name is down at the School, enough of my rambles!

Chloe has evened off a bit clothes wise, she is in 12-18 or 1.5-2 depending on where it's from. Its just those long legs of hers! Her wardrobe is bigger than ours and she has more clothes than us put together :haha: I'm always trying to sort them out, still so hard do get rid of certain items :dohh:

Fraggles: Hope N is feeling better after his jabs :flower:
