 on the word front CC is quiet a chatter box... Occasionally we end up with 2 words together... We've a few words Dog, Cat, That, Hi There, Hello, Sit Down, Ta (and on occasions) Thank you, Shane, Mummy, Daddy, Night Night, Bananananan, Juice, milk, stop and no... (and we get told off too... Can't figure out the words, but the tone say's it all)

I hope you are all well, sounds like there's a few lucky one's out there; LO that sleep in, CC has gone from being up late and sleeping late; to sleeping early and rising early... She's in bed from 6 ish, until 6.30 ish but occasionally she'll nap during the day for an hour if we're lucky... I don't think it's too bad as she's not too grumpy or bad tempered, she does tend to get naughty ish when she's over tired or will just come and snuggle in...

Bed time is lovely though, give her a warm bottle; tuck her in and 10 mins later no crying or fussing and she's zzzing away... So different to DS when he was little...:happydance:

I've had some good news today, My Dad got the all clear from the consultant for his ticker they're reducing his beata blocker too... So I'm really chuffed...:happydance: Plus I've been a bit of a coward too, told my Dad about being pregnant, as morning sickness has kicked in... There are some things I can hide, size is one thing but sickness I can't... At least he get's to tell my Mum and she get's a few days to get use to the idea before we go away... Dad was pleased... Congratulated me... You can tell with the tone when your family means something... Which means a lot...

Eswift, glad your dad was happy about your new pregnancy & is doing much better health wise now too

:shrug:Been and seen mw, should get my scan date within the next 4 weeks...:happydance:

MW gave CC the blood viles, CC managed to open the unopenable vile... There was blood everywhere... Trust my daughter!?!?

Not sure my sister's boat will be back on time... Her boat's the one that's been sent to Libya... So, here's hoping...

JeepersEswift! Hope your sis will be okay :flower: Ick about the blood! :dohh: That will teach the MW tho! Good news about your Dad too :flower:

Well we had meltdown on the bus again - annoyingly some other kids got on the bus and she sat so quiet and still, observing them but once they had gone meltdown again. Then a lady did a rhyme to her and she stopped but then she got off and she started again. Needless to say no matter what I had in my arsenal to quieten her down or whatever I did, scream, scream scream. So I just had to leave her too it. She was completely fine once we were off and home though :dohh:

Random thought .. maybe the bus is making her feel travel sick?

She is fine (well better) at travelling in the car though and at times I cover her pram over with a blanket to make it darker and help her settle more  Plus the mornings she is fine! Only moans if I wont let her stand and run around when the bus is moving!

Oh dear, Sis just text to say William has colic :nope:

Hi everyone, I hope you and all your babies are keeping well, wow can't believe how many are expecting again, massive massive congratulations!!

I took Jacob to the Dr today about his wee legs and she was quite surprised that at almost 17 months he wasn't cruising or trying to stand up at all, she checked his hips out and didn't seem to think there was a problem but she was quite surprised when she saw how he just flops down when we try to get him to stand up. She referred him to the pediatrician to get him checked out properly, I'm so worried, I can't help it, I just keep thinking what if there is a problem and my baby will never walk :( I don't want to think like that but I can't help it :(
I feel the problem may be with his feet or lower legs as he goes about on his knees and very quickly too but he just can't seem to put weight on his wee feet at all.

Kte ~ I wonder if you're both getting stressed out with the journey home after a couple of rough rides (or days)... Hope she come's around soon. Not sure if it helps, but distraction may be an option; something she really likes to eat maybe, raisen's work well for charlie (even when we're in church)...

I have the 'emergency banana' :haha: raisins and some mini jammie dodger biscuits. Her milk and a some juice. Her chosen teddy of the day, some character toys, a lion pram toy, a pram book and several other mini books I take along too. I sing things like 'row row row your boat' or 'round and round the garden' so that we have actions and words to calm and distract her. She could be feeding of my 'fed up want to be home' vibes possible, I try to be positive but I could work on that a bit more!

Craftymum :hugs: I hope they are able to figure out what is going on and that you don't have to wait too long for an appointment :flower:

Thanks KTE My hubby has health insurance through his work so we can go private, they offered us an appointment on the 11th March but the time was no good to us so we got one for the 24th instead.
Could Chloe just be tired and hungry maybe? Or does she get her dinner at nursery?

Eswift- Congrats on your pregnancy.
Kte- I have the same with Adi on the bus so I brought him a steering wheel and he loves it they do the girls ones in elc just a thought.
Craftymum- I wouldn't worry too much a friend of mine her lo didn't work until she was 2, she had loads of tests done then one day just got up and started walking.

Weve had a lovely day today took the kids to a new soft play centre with some friends, Adi was off as soon as we got in there running around. He kept trying to climb up the slide and everytime I got him down he screamed at me! Stubborn little boy :haha:

Thanks MUMOF4 I know I probably am worrying too much, though it's hard not to. I just feel sometimes like he's missing out as we can't really go to soft play cafes as it's a bit of a waste to be honest as he can't really play with anything there as he can't stand up or climb :(

Ekkkk .. everything went really well .. saw a HB ... 6 weeks on the dot, due the 20th October .. pic on my FB. Let me know if you aint on there and I'll link you (I don't like the rule of having to post all your details on a public forum to be able to post a scan pic here)

Congrats Chaos:hugs:

Craftymum- I would still go because their was loads of kids adi's age in there and most had give up on the walking was too busy crawling and pushing the soft blocks over. Most do toddler time where you sit and make things as well which is good.xx

The soft play we have near us are great - once they are able to climb or walk, there's not an awful lot for crawling babies :( I've seen some of the pics on fb some of the other girls have been to and the soft play areas look fab compared to what we have in Northern Ireland. But I still want to do all I can to encourage him but to be honest he has more fun at Mums and tots, which has the added bonus of being free lol

Chaos ive posted pics in group threads before, i dont like the putting full details on here either. Congrats again.

Had a day out again yesterday. Must get some stuff done around the house today.

Congrats Chaos! Glad to hear everything went well with the scan :hugs:

Just a quick hello and "happy Friday" from me. Trying to get some work done on a project while the house is quiet. Hope everyone is having a good day!

Morning all,

Happy Friday!!!

I'm not keen on details but I can see why - don't want any randomer stealing a scan pic! So best not to pop one on

I dunno with Chloe and the bus . . my sister made up some spoof words to the wheels on the bus - "Chloe on the bus goes, scream scream scream" etc . . so I added "all journey long" :haha: Got to laugh really. I think its down to tiredness. We have a steering wheel toy too for her but once she is in a grump she just, as the saying goes, 'chucks all her toys out the pram!' She would rag it off most likely which would be even more embarresing! Also, if I get the bus with steps dumped on me, I need as little items as possible to be able to put the pram down and I can see it would get annoying!

Chaos ~ :wohoo: CONGRATULATIONS!!! :wohoo: :dust:

Kte ~ I'm sure Chloe will come around aventually, could be a number of things and tiredness could be the answer... I would try not to worry... Next week may be completely different... Here's hoping...:hugs:

I actually got an email from my sister, no saying when she'd be home; my guess is they don't know... But she said she was chuffed about baby:happydance: I knew she'd be happy... I have had a horrid day, I know I shouldn't moan as the sickness is a plus sign, but I forgot how rough I felt and then the sickness started again... Not ventured anywhere, and don't want to go anywhere either...

Told OH he can do the prgnancy thing next time, he asked me which next time... Must admitte I kinda agree with him at the moment...

Tea's up... Catch you all later, have a great weekend...:hi:

Hi all. Just a quick visit from me. Congrats Chaos. Will go have a look on FB in a mo. Had to go buy James new shoes cos his feet are getting wider lol. We are now in a 4.5G.
