Morning all,
Think it may be student union coffee time
Aimee: Chloe doen't really have a set bed time, I think i will get her into a routine more when she moved into her own room. At the moment since Nij is in bed early I need to be in there too incase she wakes and cries. To be honest, she doesn't wake up once she has properly fallen asleep but I can't do the whole leave her to settle as then she will. For the last few nights it has been about 10-11pm which has been killing me as then she is wide eyed chirpy smiles at about 6.30-7.00. Not too bad really but she wakes for a feed at about 4/5-ish and I wake when Nij goes to work at 1 (him moving about just wakes me up, thankfully Chloe is zonked at that time) so for me I feel like a wreck even though I shouldn't!!
Last night though she was asleep for 7.30, so much so that I decided she could go to bed fully dressed in her dress and booties!
I changed her nappy whilst she snoozed away but there was no way I was disturbing her any more than that! I wanted an early night! Typical really as I had to get up at 5.30 so I could wash my hair, get me ready then have a good hour with Chloe and get her sorted so she would be hugry and fed before we got out the door!
Hope Earls new tooth isn't causing him too much aggrivation today
Kaites Yep, even Daddy doesn't cut it at the moment either! I know it's just a phase she is going through and she will be fine but I'm still a little stressed as she really does get wound up, at least I am not around to see it in a way . . . she needs to learn I guess . . . trying to convince myself here!
I can't wait to get home and have lots and lots of cuddles!
Eswift ~ I do that with Chloe, have her on my knee when I am eating. Think we need to invest in a high chair too, luckily I have some Mohtercare vouchers left over and saw one within budget so it's just a case of getting it then dragging it to the car!
I have lenses too but I only suffer with dry eyes if I have naughtily kept them in too long during the day. I have seen an advert for some eye drops that refresh eyes that are okay to put in with contacts. Or maybe ask again at the Opticians when you go for your glasses to see if there is anything you can do or get for them. It might be your eyes adjusting? Like Aimee says, a good swill in the saluine solution sometimes help
LK ~ How is hungry James doing today?
The childminder told me last week that she couldn't believe how little Chloe ate. She thought she was still hungry after a feed as Chloe guzzled it down, the max she has is 180ml but she doesn't always fully drain a bottle. So she tried to giver her some more feed and Chloe refused! Saying that I guess its about now she will be hitting the 3/4 month growth spurt so must keep an eye on her levels.
Anyways, eek, best get on with some work . . . after the coffee!
