Morning Ladies...

Well, yesterday ended with a big flop! I thought I was doing very well, I was feeling pretty good etc; then DS came in... Argh, attitude; when told to go get changed and change his attitude too he replied as he was going up the stairs "Why don't you go change yours!" and was like that all evening... As he had swimming it was rather rushed getting CC fed etc before having to leave, when we were getting into the car she started crying, she was tired. As we got off the estate DS decided to put his hand over her mouth, boy did I shout! My friends daughter was sat next to me must have thought I'd gone nuts...

I couldn't deal with DS, made him move seats and tried to talk to him when we'd got home. Tried to explain what he'd done wrong and why etc, think it when in one ear and straight out the other. Tried asking my Mum for some advice, Dad's said DS can go there this weekend and he'll try to talk to DS. By the time OH came in DS was in bed, CC was feeding and I was crying my eyes out...

OH was very attentive, and gave me plenty of cuddles; he's gonna talk to DS when he gets home. I just don't want to start shouting or smacking, and he's not listening to me at the moment... I feel as if I was to try having a heart to heart, it'd be me in tears again... Not what I want...

Anyway, that was yesterday; today I feel much better CC ended up asleep about 9pm ish, didn't wake until 2.30am and then back asleep untiil 6.45am so I feel much better today. OH has said he doesn't think I'm depressed just absolutely tired out; thinks I'll be fine after some quality sleep... Hopefully I get that over the next couple of days...

Aimee ~ my only worry is that Chloe will be having her birthday party and people will be knocking at the door after her party goodies! lol

Mellie ~ lol sounds like fun. Not surprised you wanted low key this year! Chloe is off to a pirate themed party this weekend, I did find her pirate costume but esentially its a top and jeans that say pirate on it so it has been made the reserve costume if she is sick as my cousin randomly sent her a cat style baby grow so now she is going as the ships cat lol

Eswift ~ Sorry to hear that your DS is being a bit awkward

Well had HV check, filled in the questionnaire and that was it. The usual don't drink too much alcohol, eat well and exercise message.

Some Jehova Witnesses (sp) just disturbed CHloe from her nap. I don't have anything against them, I used to have a frend who was one, but argh she was about to nap! Should have had the christening cards in the window, or maybe that would have been worse? Ah well. Time to pay my mobile bill too . . . have a good day ladies

all, sorry for not being online, I am literally knackered!!!

Got my wedding dress at the weekend & bought my sister's bridesmaid dress... so I am officially broke. Thankgod I stocked up on nappies in the asda baby event, coz my bank balance cant take anymore spending for a few more weeks OH booked our honeymoon to Italy (tuscany) so he's broke too.

Harry had his 2nd lot of injections today (his 12 week ones at 17 weeks coz of the snow, lol) & was a trooper; he cried for about 30 secionds, then was smiling at the nurses! Also had his photos done at Boots- sooooo cute! Can't wait till they arrive.

Harry is also now going longer between his day time feeds & is such a smile whore! He's great at playing with things, making noises, blowing raspberries, doing 'mr burns' hands, grabbing his bog toes, rolling side to side etc. He's just so contented right now, which is fab coz it means I can play with him & also leave him kicking about on the floor & get on with housework, painting etc.

KTE, awww sure Chloe will look gorgeous as the ships cat, and yes its a good idea to have a back up outfit...lol!

Flora, Hey! Glad your DS was good with his injections, Theo has his last lot a week on Weds ....at least that is it till they are one though!
Oh & congrats on buying your wedding dress, how exciting! When do you get married?

Well i've had a pretty productive morning! Managed to do two washes, put the dishwasher on, washed the bottles and sterilised them...Theo is currently sleeping in his bouncer and DD is eating her lunch (tuna and sweetcorn mayo pasta ) then gonna put her down for a nap and might sweep and mop the floors a womans work is never done hey?!
Wish I could have a weeks holiday , i'm always telling my DP he is lucky, he gets 2 days a week off, i'm constantly on call 24 hours, 7 days a week ....lol, can you tell i'm a little jealous and wish I could have a few hours to myself!!

Anyway, god makes me sound like a right moaner, I do love being a mummy really..honestly!

DD has finished eating so I better go clean her up before she smears tuna everywhere ....Hope your all having a good day so far anyway

Mornin' Girls!

Well we have an ice storm warning here for the next few days. Suppose to hit tonight. Better go stock up on nappies and formula. Of course every silly sod is going to be out buying all the milk, eggs and bread. I swear, what is it with that? A mad craving for French toast when it gets cold?!

Aimee ~ Great job on the sewing!!

Eswift ~ Sorry you had a rough day with your DS yesterday. Do you think it could be some jealousy or something happened at school to put him in a bad mood? Hope he's better today!

Mellie ~ That's why God invented OH's and a lock on the bathroom door and big deep baths .. so Mums CAN have a few minutes to them selves.

So my cat is currently acting like he snarfed a load of crack. He's running around the house sideways like a crab, and then leaping up at the door frames and kind of hugging them whilst standing on he's back legs. He's a bit special, that one.

Haha, we had a "Valentines play date" All the kids where in lil Valentines outfits and the we took pics of them. SO many cute babies all together should be against the law!

Noah is 15 weeks today

Afternoon all, well I have had quite a productive day, managed to get registered at doctors and book new patient checks, booked into baby clinic and jabs for Noah and smear for me (bloomin hate them should be used to things like that seen as so many people have seen my bits while pregnant ) Guess im worried as ive missed my last few smears.

Took a this morning too as I wanted to go back on the pill. One big fat so started new pack.

Also looked into some groups to start going to which im quite excited but nervous about at the same time.

Chaos that picture is adorable, such a lovely idea.

Emily hope you can sort the problems with DS maybe puberty is starting already? He's 10 isn't he? Might be a bit early but maybe hormones are surging.

Mellie ive just moved from Manchester although not far from it, what area are you from?

the date is 8th april, so just over 2 months away. just got cake, photographer, suits n rings to sort now, as everything else is done or being done for us, thankgod. i feel very unprepared tho considering we've had since spet 2008 to sort it all; we're just too lazy, lol...no pics of dress until the big day I'm afraid, as I'm keeping it totally secret! only me & my mum have seen it; my poor sis is gutted i wont let her see it! her dress is gorgeous; midnight blue satin with silver embroidery on it. OH is getting suits sorted next week; cant wait to see Harry, Caleb & Josh in suits!!!

Evening ladies. Well I have also had a productive day. Have changed the address on my drivers licence and car registration document. Ironed my uniforms ready to go back to work. Cleaned the bathroom and filled the car up with petrol. And I am off out on a date tonight! Went to buy a new phone the other day and am going out with the guy who sold me the phone hehe.

Chloe can be an absolute cow to me since having sam, i think its jealousy as she's had me all to herself for almost 10 years. When i try talking to her i get yeah ok im not a child, im like HELLO YES YOU ARE!!! She'll also make comments when sam is crying like cant you shut him up, which winds me up. Sometimes its easier for me to ignore her when she's being like that rather than get into an arguement with her.

Her school situation probably doesnt help either at the moment.

Dunno what your thoughts are on FF but have you tried CC with a bottle before bedtime? Maybe that could help her sleep a bit longer through the night.

Sam is really suffering with his teeth bless him, monday he was a bit off and barely got 16oz milk into him from 8am till 9pm, tuesday was awful, he screamed all day calpol didnt work, then he worked himself up so much he was absolutely shattered and also hungry but couldnt calm himself to take his bottle. Yesterday was better till last night he had a screaming fit for an hour where he wound himself up and was sick, then gave him calpol that did work as well as talking baby talk to him with a blanket with a teddy head rattle on it. Then another half hour this afternoon of screaming, just want this bloody tooth through now, poor baby. Both me and OH have got nasty colds and i think he's picking something up too which isnt helping.

On a good note sam is 4 months old today dunno where the time has gone!

Emily Ive started giving a bottle of EBM as the last feed at night, as he has less work to do to take it and falls asleep usually much quicker, if he does wake in the night he gets boobie but that 9pm bottle sometimes gets him through till 4-5am

Hi ladies!
Hope everyone is having a good week! I can't beleive it's Thursday- where has the week gone?! I've spent my free time this week trying to get my investments sorted (boring!!!). We have an appointment on Monday to open an education fund for Emma but I wanted to get my savings for retirement figured out first. It's not like we have loads of extra cash these days, but I might as well get that little bit working a little harder for us and if it's invested, I can't waste it away on more cloth diapers and baby carriers

Aimee- great job on your first sewing projects! I've got another mei tai in the works atm. Sewing has become my "relaxing-alone-time"- Emma's got a boatload of reuseable babywipes since they are quick to make when I only get a few minutes to escape to my sewing room

Chaos- super cute pic of Autumn! Emma has become interested in other babies too- she babbles away to both the babies at yoga class and the pictures of babies in my parenting magazines I hope you guys are spared the ice storm.

jo- happy 4 months! Hope Sam's teeth cut soon

LK- have fun on your date!

Kte- argh- that sucks that they disturbed Chloe's nap- we just had the UPS guy wake Emma up. Your comment about the christening cards cracked me up- when my brother was little, his class was given glow-in-the-dark rosaries at school and he came home all excited waving it around when the Jehovah's Witness people happened to be at our door. They saw the rosary and bolted, much to my mum's relief

Flora- Emma does the Mr Burns hands too Sounds like you guys are making good progress on your wedding plans- honeymoon in Tuscany sounds lovely By the time all the festivities are over, you'll be in need of some relaxing, holiday time!

eswift- hope CC gives you a chance to get a little more sleep

Maffie- Yay for producitive days! What groups are you planning on joining? I've got my eye on a baby signing class- we can't join the Feb class (conflicts with baby massage, lol) so I'm hoping they offer a March start date class.

Evening Ladies...

Thanks for all your advice, DS and I had words today; managed to get much more sleep last night and had a pretty good day with CC all round. I thought about what I was going to say to DS about everything his attitude, behaviour and the rest. I think I need to reinstate my position in the house, I am the adult not the child; I need to be firmer and not take the easy option when it comes to the know it all attitude... DS is going through puberty I know, and at 10 he's very young; and I think trying too hard to be older... I'm not making excuses for him, I do feel that I may have taken the easy option for many things I probably shouldn't have...

The weaning is helping during the day, she's not as grumpy, just droolie... Think I kinda put the sh*ts up my family yesterday, as all of them have called me today to make sure I'm ok, they've all organised themselves that I loose DS for the weekend. Got the lecture off all of them, that if I'm still like this next week I must go to GP...

Anyway, best go do OH tea, he's nearly home... LOL

Not a lot going on for us. Earl had me up at 5.30 so is now tired and wants a nap........I'm knackered! lol

We went to see my Dad yesterday. He's 82 so we got some pictures of Earl with his Grandad. Not to be morbid, but we need to take every opportunity.

Flora - hope the wedding plans are going well. Our 2nd Anniversary is on the 12th April....April weddings are the best lol

OH got up and fed CC her breakie, and Chased DS around the house to get ready for school...

Morning all, Flora,hope the wedding plans are going well, and eswift i hope your toes ok, i hate that when that happens, enjoy your shopping too, well today im leaving George for the first time, me & Hubby are going to a hotel, nice spa treatments, nice meal, plus were staying over night, back tommorow, im nervous, cause i dont know how George will be but i need the break if you know what i mean, plus, as from tommorow, were planning on putting George into his own room and into his cot, so i think, i may need a full nights sleep tonight!!! ha ha, well enjoy your day ladies xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning all,

Chloe was up early too Aimee, not that early but she woke for her second feed about 5 and I managed to convince her to go back to sleep but it didn't last long. I dragged myself out of bed and not long after she decided she was still tired and had a nap! So I have baggy eyes now lol Got a few things done like clothes and vac so thats good, I had to do them anyway but at least its without stress and now I can actually get to the laptop to have a chill and cuppa! It feels like OH should be home now so the next few hours will be weird. At least he isn't working tomorrow or Sunday Busy weekend ahead tho, got his parents over tonight then tomorrow off up to my Sis's as it's my nephews Pirate party on Sunday so we are staying over Sat night.

Cheeky is awake so I am going to play with her . . . I'll be back!
