I'm beginning to feel so much more like me, OH was a jem on Friday, slacked on Saturday... LOL (I knew it would be short lived..) Saturday we spent out and about, finally managed to see my great aunt and uncle, it was so nice to see the both...

I've finally managed to figure put how to get CC settled on a night, and then she sleeps until 12-3am ish and wakes again at 6-7am ish, and then back to sleep for a little while longer... Bless her... (question is for how long??)

She was so funny last night, fighting sleep something rotten, she was wanting to do "row row row your boat" and kept throwing herself backwards and pulling herself forwards... Smiling so wide she really was proud of herself. OH and I couldn't help but laugh...

Right I best go make a space in the kitchen, boiler is being serviced today....

LK, hope the interview goes well. I haven't read all the last few days' threads so not sure of the situation, but I'm guessing this interview is for a job a bit closer to you in Bristol? Hope so, as I'm sure you don't want to be driving to Oxford each day. And happy birthday for tomorrow as well. xx

Good afternoon all,

LK - Good Luck and Happy Birthday!!

Just a quickie from me as I'm busy at home. Earl let me have a lie in this morning He woke up at 5.30, I took him downstairs as normal for his breakfast and he was falling back to sleep on the bottle, so I left the TV off, and the lights, and took him straight back upstairs once he'd eaten, and he went down again until 7.30! I was so chuffed. He's having a sleepy day today though so I'm not counting chickens....actually I never do now as Earl's routine, isn't as such a routine, more of a general idea lol.

We've had a fun day though. Earl's been a bit grumpy so hubby was bouncing him and started shouting 'We want Mummy' and Earl was giggling and grinning like mad. Made me feel loved lol Small things

Anyhoo's, got a few bits to do then I'm going to set to work on my sewing projects. Still need to pin my dungarees but the material is all washed and dried now so need to iron and pin today. I'm also trying to make/design a cot bumper that will work in lieu of a rolled up blanket that we use at the moment. I needs one that Earl can't move lol.

Toad in the hole for tea....scrummers! Hubby is back to work tomorrow but we've had a lovely 5 days so far - aprt from both headlights blowing in the car on the way home on Saturday

Afternoon all, just been and had patient check at docs and been to baby clinic and got Noah weighed. He's 12lbs 10.5 oz now. So back onto the 9th percentile, he seems to be growing so fast, he's really long.

I havent been on since Evie was born - we've had a few probs (lactose allergies, swine flu, blah blah) anyway, things have finally settled and all is good! So I was wondering if we could come in and join you all??

Flora ~ No hen night?! Why not have a girlie night in (exception of Harry of course) maybe a few drinks, take away treat and a movie?

We have a savings account for Chloe and a separate one for her CTF so she doesn't blow all that at 18!

Pram wise I'm not sure what model either sorry but I have read other posts on here saying don't get something that you won't want chucked about by the airline's.

LK ~ Awh shame about the date not contacting you but at least you had a good time then. Good luck for your interview, fingers and toes crossed and Happy Birthday for tomorrow Lol your slurred typing made me chukkle!

Kaites ~ Hope your feeling better and Emma hasn't caught the bug. What are Daddies and Daughters like, Nij says to Chloe 'give me a smile if you want this' and she does! Its really cute.

Maffie ~ Hope your feeling a bit more perky, Noah seems to be doing well.

Aimee ~ Im sure Earl isn't bored of you! I know what you mean though, Chloe and I have had some fun today though and I even managed to get some giggles! I feel like most of the time Mummy is practical and Daddy is fun but that's fine by me She had a right giggle fit at her Daddy on Friday - he got her first smile and her first giggles, but she let me have some today after I had a mini rant about never having 5 mins for me lol

Sam ~ How is George getting on in his own bed? I'm not sure about dummies but I think Aimee had a similar prob not so long back, not sure what she did in the end.

Eswift ~ Haven't you got that highchair yet? Me neither! Glad CC sleep has gotten better.

Mellie ~ Jealous of the gym membership, I used to go 3 times a week at a cost of £23 a month, think it worked out okay. I used to love it but I would never get to see OH if I did it still so I left.

Mornin' Girls!

Well I've had fun and games this weekend! Between me popping my shoulder out yet again, by picking up a box of nappys off the shelf at the shop and my lappybeing an idiot!. It pretty much had a heart attack and flipped me off. It would take 5 minutes to open up outlook, it would just freeze up if I opened more than 1 webpage. Nothing else other than it's old and on it's last legs really, so the Hubby spent most of yesterday fixing it and reloading it. It works like a brand new computer now! w00t!

SO .. I'm like jumping around like a fool right now .. Autumn just rolled over on the floor by her self for the first time!!! She's been able to do it on the sofa for weeks because it's softer, but on the hard floor, that pesky arm prevented her from going all the way. Well this morning she cracked it!! PROUD MAMA!!!

I also did some sewing this weekend. Not professional by any means, but I'm proud of them for my first projects!

Aimee ~ Yay for lay-ins! Autumn has started letting me lay in till 8am (if I pull her in to my bed at 6 haha) Looking forward to seeing your next project! I'm working on a gift for a friends baby shower. I'm going to raid the thrift stores and get some materials.

LK ~ Good luck for the interview, oh and Pics of the new do! As for date guy ~ pffft, he don't know what he's missing out on!

Sam ~ No trouble with the dummy here. She seems to just like it to fall asleep with, then she spits it out. That or she plays for half an hour when I put her to bed with pulling it out and putting it back in. All you hear over the monitor is "ahhhh, ohhhh, laaa ohhh mmmm" as she does it lol.

Maffie ~ Excellent stats!

Honeysunshine ~ Good to have you back! glad the problems are sorted out.

Ok busy day, food shopping, thrift stores cleaning up stairs. Phew, knackered just thinking about it lol.

Sam - sorry I forgot to answer your question about dummies Yes, I have problems, so I was abit of a cruel mummy and stopped going in and putting them back in. Turned out he was teething as he would bite my finger if I put it in his mouth, so did his teething gel instead and he would go back to sleep....then within about 4 days he started getting up stupidly early anyway so I've not have any problems anyway for a while. He will not sleep during the day without one though so I forsee problems in the future but for now, naps and dummies go hand in hand.

Well...we've had some good news - Hubby has got an unconditional offer of a place for his degree. Obviously we have to wait for the other uni's to get back to him but at the moment, it would appear that we are moving to Norwich!
