Chaos, that pic of Autumn is gorgeous!
Eswift, I hope you can get things sorted soon & also that your son (and Jo's Chloe) calm down a bit. It amazes me how grown up 10 yr olds can be at times, or more to the point, how grown up they 'think' they are!!!
Helz, Ethan sounds like he's doing sooo well!
Kaites, we have set up a ton of savings accounts since having Harry & are also insured up to the eyeballs now, lol. I didn't want to take any chances, so we are quite literally insured for every situation that life might throw atb us so that Harry is covered. We also set up just a lil savings account for Harry that has a whole £80 in it at the mo, which we're using for any birthday, xmas, easter money people are kind enough to give him, and the government child trust fund too. (in the UK, the governemtn gives every child £250 for a trust fund to invest until the child is 18 that you can either leave as it is, or add to over the years)
Maffie, the sure start groups can be hit or miss, depending on the people in the groups, lol. Some of mine were full of teens & I felt really old & out of place, despite looking younger than half of them, lol. I do the BF group & the sensory play sessions at the moment. I was gonna do baby signing, but it's so similar to Makaton, which i already have the advanced certificate in due to work (i work with severely autistic ppl, ppl with learning difficulties & other issues such as epilepsy & cerebal palsy) so I didnt see the point in the end. I am thinking of joining the next buggy walking group in an attempt to lose weight (yeah right!) and when Harry's more mobile (sitting up by himself etc) I will take him to the messy play & wrigglers & gigglers group, which does music, art, play etc & looks really fun.
Kte- glad Chloe's christening went well. Cant wait for Harry's in May/June half term
Jo- hope Sam is less grizzly for you soon.
Sam & AimeeLou- thanks for the wedding good wishes. It's a bit overwhelming, but I'm so excited. I'm not having a hen night coz of Harry, so the 'big day' will be it. I am sooooo looking forward to going to Italy. We now need to find a good buggy to take with us that will withstand the bumpy roads & paths in mountainy & vineyardy regions while we're out there & a carseat coz I think Harry will've outgrown his by the time we go there. I love the fact that the villa has a little pool outside so I can swim everyday, even if it's freezing!
LK- how is gorgeous James doing today?
Sorry if I've missed anyone out! Memory is crap these days!
