Kte ~ It's gonna be hard going back full time, I must confess I'm not too sure about going back to work; I've time yet... Told my Dad today, I'm not sure how I had time for work with DS, OH & housework; that was without CC... Not sure "sorry, I can't fit you in" is a good reason not to go back... I hope you settle back in sooner rather than later, if you don't settle there's alway another option, sometimes just finding it's the hard bit...

Aimee ~ Love the pic's... He's so cute... When I order stuff I can't wait to have it up and out of the box... OH hate's it when I order anything big... I remember years ago I ordered bunk beds when DSS & DS were a lot yonger; they arrived one afternoon when OH was at work... I had them up and tea cooked before he came home... Got in a pickle at one point me pinned against the wall, bed in place and me needing to be at the other side... Thank goodness for being a bit flexible...

Colsy ~ I am sure every parent has the "God, Aren't I Lucky Moment!"; I still have them with DS. Ok, so I moan frequently... Trust me children learn to push every button you have, and boy do they push!!! I love it when they smile, I feel as though I my heart melts and my whole being warms up... (Ok, so I'm mushy too!)

Maffie ~ Hope you sell all your stuff for a good price; I sell little bits now and then, seems a shame to give some of the stuff away when someone else may have a use for it...

It's snowing here! DS was rather excited when going to bed, I think he's hoping there's enough to make a snowman by morning... Oh, to be 10 again...

Evening ladies. Well James is not a happy bunny boy. He slept for 2 hours after his jabs and then woke up crying and cried for about 20 mins. Took his trousers off to change his nappy and silence! They must have been irritating his little legs bless him. So left them off lol. Gave him some calpol at 5.30pm and nurofen at 7.30pm and hes now sound asleep.

I had some professional pics done of Harry a couple of weeks ago & they arrived today... I'm so pleased with them!!!! Now I have to find some nice frames for the to go in & scan a few in so I can show you Also, Harry & Caleb's suits for my wedding arrived today & they are gorgeous. Harry's is baby blue & silver and Caleb's is black & burgunday 7& suits him perfectly. Joshy is having the same as my OH etc, as he is our official page boy. I am finally starting to get excited! Got the flowers sorted yesterday so just the photographer to get finalised now. Yay!

Can I ask a really weird question???? (I'm gonna ask anyway, lol)
Have any of you NOT had sex yet since having your LOs?

I haven't & I dont intend to anytime soon as I feel so unbelivabley unsexy & rough looking and every time OH tries to be romantic, I want to kick him in his wotsits coz I'd rather sleep, lol. But, OH is starting to get kinda stressed out coz I dont have a 'valid' reason for not wanting it... Now I feel bad that he wants it & I dont... I'm really hoping I want it again before the wedding. Poor git... He's only had is a couple of times in the last year; how bad a fiance am I??? Please tell me I'm not abnormal.

flora - I was kinda pressured into having sex again after having James. I had a pretty high sex drive before getting pregnant and now have been 5 weeks without it and not even bothered lol. So no I don't think its abnormal!

Florabean ~ You're not weird, honestly; Bfing takes alot out of your body. I'm sure soon enough once the weather changes and we start getting more sunlight, your energy will start to pick up... As far a feeling unsexy and rough, I'm sure you OH doesn't see you that way at all... Look at your Harry, how gorgous he is; you and your OH created him. Your OH probably just want's to show you that his affections for you haven't changed (well maybe they have, maybe they've grown stronger.) Don't feel bad about things if you're not up to it, just explain how you feel to him; I'm sure he'll understand...

My OH & I have not been at it like bunnies, I'm too tired and can honestly say I know where you're coming from... He's tried, I've explained how I'm feeling and after a little sulking he's got over it... And I've got my zzz's... I don't think you're alone by any means... The sexiness will come back, as will your energy and wanting...

Hey, if it helps I wouldn't let OH have any before we got married for 4 months... He enjoyed/appreciated it more on our wedding night... And the honeymoon...

Flora- I have to admit I'm a little relieved to see I'm not the only one who has a sex starved OH, lol I'm sure it gets better though- if it didn't, none of us would have siblings I thought I read somewhere though that the hormones for BFing seem to decrease sex drive That's my new excuse anyway

thanks eswift and florabean - he's doing fine these days. He was having breathing problems and wasn't allowed to be on his back at all as he could stop breathing so that meant that there were some scary times but he's much stronger now!

I've had little interest in sex either! We did try one night but little one kept crying from his moses basket so that was a real passion killer lol

Sex I think my drive is back but it was gone for a long time. I think Noah sleeping through helps.

Re: sex - hubby and I are pretty active really. Have been sine about 2 weeks PP but then again I've got a very high drive and so has hubby. Earl being such a good sleeper helps but we're less 'active' now than when Earl was really new as he sleeps less and takes more out of me - which all sounds a bit backwards lol

Morning everyone - 5.30 this morning and I could have got him back down again but hubby came in and started to play peekaboo Going to try putting him back as par for the course from Sunday as Hubby is off ir on lates for 2 weeks - much easier lol. At the moment Earl is back to sleep so I'm going to make a cuppa and try to get 40 winks too.

P.S. - 08.30 - Just had my cornflakes and ended up having to share them with Earl lol - He kept sticking his hand into the bowl, grabbing a handful and sticking his entire fist into his mouth to suck all the food out/off. In the end I had to put him in his bumbo and baby wipe him clean before I could finish my breakfast lol. Hmmmmmmm me thinks weaning is upon us lol

Morning all

Im like the hulk today, getting angry at everything. Got doc appoint at 12.20, need 2 wash my hair, trying to get chloe to have a nap but everyone or thing keeps on disturbing her. I nearly gave a bank call center what for but ended up saying cant talk and hanging up.

My hormones are all over I guess. I am on the pill but I was bleeding a little last night like I was starting to come on. Today its just old blood, sorry TMI. I'm two weeks into taking my pill since my last AF (been on pill since 6 week check). Chloe nearly 16 weeks! I have already cancelled 1 smear and looks like I will have to cancel my next. I have a horrible taste in my mouth too.

I was, yet again, intending to reply more to people so I will be back and I WILL write my replies, even if they are a tad behind!!!!!

Morning again, well docs went fine everyone just coos over Noah he was giving the nurse the biggest smile. Had my bloods done, they seem to be testing for everything (liver and kidney function, thyroid, diabetes, cholestrol, muscle effectiveness, something to do with hearts) I kind of zoned out as she listed it all I just thought im sure all should come back normal I feel fine other than this silly BP issues.

Just eaten lunch (was hungry from fasting for bloods) warmed up the left overs from last nights spag bol yum yum, curry tonight. I do love cooking there is no wonder I am overweight.

Kte I bled and then stopped then started again 2 weeks later on the pill. I think its just our bodies getting accustomed to the hormones.

Aimee thats what Noah does grabs food, he was doing it for week but I finally started him on some food this week. Only having a bit as an introduction to food, trying to stick to BF as much as possible which he seems happy with. Although he 'eats' away as I eat my food

LK how is James doing after his jabs?

Right time for coffee and cherry bakewell and may do more ebaying, got about 40 craft items on yesterday would like to get same amount on today.

thanks for all the replies re: sex (or lack of it, lol). ?Eswift, you're right, OH is always telling me how much he loves & still wants me & that he couldnt give 2 hoots about my stretch marks n jelly belly & how bfing has made my boobies even more sexy, lol; he gives me back rubs, brings me a cuppa every morning, takes harry downstairs on his days off son i get an extra hour of sleep, or time for a shower & he always gives harr his baths & he is really excited about starting blw with him & stuff... he is fantastic really, so i think that's why he finds it so hard when i 'reject' his advances as he sees it as me not appreciating him & 'rejecting' him as a person... which then makes me feel lousy too, but i'm not the kinda girl to just lay back n let him get on with it, lol. if we do it, i want to do it good!!!!!
I just got 8 inches cut off my hair in an attempt to get a bit of sexiness back, hehe, and treated myself to a new jumper, t-shirt & pair of jeans...
i think i also look at my body now & view it much more of a functional piece of equipment since being pregnant rather than a physical entity for pleasure

Morning ladies!

Argh- I think Emma has decided to be an early bird like her daddy. Everytime she has a growth spurt it messes with her sleep and she comes out the other side of it with a new pattern and the latest is waking at 6am. I think I'll be joining her for an afternoon nap today! I had fun yesterday afternoon trying Emma's bathing suit on her to see if it still fits before starting our classes on Monday (I haven't had the courage to see if mine still fits... ). Mini-rant, but why can't children's clothing sizes be standardized in some way?? She was wayyyyy too big for a bikini that said it was 12-18 mths but the 6-12mth one piece still fit Oh well, she enjoyed using the bikini as a teething chew cloth so I guess it's still useful Anyway, I had to take a picture of her frilly bum- I love having a little girl to dress up

Aimee- Sounds like Earl is trying to show you he wants some food Emma was trying to make a grab for the pancakes on Tuesday night. I'd say she's ready for food except she also shoved a fist full of my hair in her mouth yesterday too so I'm thinking it's more of a teething thing for us, lol.

Kaites, that swim suit is stunning! I'll see if I can upload a piccy of Harry is his 'surf-o-saurus' suit, lol. I need to get a couple more I think & a reusable set of swim nappy trunks, but so far, I can only find the reusuable ones in 3-6mths+, so they're too big for him, so for now, he's stuck in the huggies lil swimmer nappies, which are great but considering he only swims for 30-40mins at a time, it seems like a waste, iykwim?

Kaites - Earl is an early riser. I'm lucky if I get him past 6am most mornings. I don't mind really apart from the fact that 1 hour after getting up he goes off for an hour long nap and leaves me wide awake at 7am! Still, plenty of BnB time and hubby gets his breakfast/lunch made most mornings now lol.

Earl's naps are everywhere today. I think he's switching from a 1.5hour cycle to a 2 hour cycle as now, if I mis-judge and try to get him to sleep too early he really lets me know about it. Just had a hellish half an hour which culminated in a play session on the floor, him taking a dislike to something and taking a nose-dive into the carpet. He didn't thank me for that Anyhoo's he's asleep now just for half an hour or so befor bath time at 6.15ish.

Yes, I think food is on the cards. We had soup for lunch with crusty rolls and I obviously couldn't demonstrate what happened this morning but I just offered earl a big chunk of the crust off my roll and he swiped it, straight into his mouth and started to chew and suck like crazy. I'm not going to give him anything until the weekend I think, as I want to get some of the proper baby cereals etc and make my own purees for him to try, but I'm hoping that he will be able to progress quickly (seems like it to me, judging by today's exploits lol) to be onto mainly fingery foods. However a couple of boxes of porridge or baby rice would be useful, as would a box of rusks lol so we're off to get that on Sunday I think.

We're off to the Sea life centre on Monday. Earl is obsessed slightly with our aquarium and sits watching the fish for ages, so we're intrigued to see what he'll do with a giant one lol. We have some free entry things so we thought it would be a nice day out for us all, then a bag of chips in Scarborough lol.

Hope we have some nice plans for the weekend everyone.

Poor James is running a fever. He has been having calpol and nurofen and is in just a tshirt and still feels hot. He had nurofen at 12 and calpol at 1 so he isn't really due any just yet but think I may have to give him some. What do you think girls?

Okay, feeling a bit better, still hormonal, think I am just winding myself up! Need to chill. I have a gift voucher for an aromathepy full body massage but I have never been to anything like that before and I am a little scared of what goes on lol I think I seriously need it though, would be nice to book it for next week maybe. I was going to go to my sisters but Nij car is still being fixed so he has my car to get to work and back so it's not happening now. She might come down for a day possibly.

You were right Maffie, its normal and can happen for months after. I just needed to check and make sure and wanted to know that my pill was still protecting us, we didn't want a sibling for Chloe so soon!

Flora ~ I was planning on new clothes and 'doo' soon-ish but I just noticed my jeans are falling apart so now its more than a treat its a necessity!! Hope they help you feel a bit better about yourself. I have not been feeling so attractive either, I think Nij thought he was complimenting me when he grabbed hold of my tummy and told me he 'loved my flab' . . . hmmm nice try. Hope your OH understands, I'm sure he will and it will be worth the wait for him when you are ready.

Maffie~ Hope all the results come back fine for you There was another little girl really interested in Chloe at the doctors today, she was 10 months old. She was sat on her Mum's knee waving and Chloe was just staring and sometimes smiling back so I helped her to wave back. I have to say Mmmmmmmmm bakewell, *drool*! Hope you enjoyed it Well done on the ebay listing front, I always start of with good intentions and get so bored after a few. Hope they prove to be popular and you get some good prices for your things

Kaites~ I know what you mean about clothes sizes, its crazy. Love the frilly swim costume, I was cooing over some in a shop the other day, just need the local pool to finish being built!

LK~ I just read you have to keep him cool and strip off like you have done, is there a HV you can call or maybe call NHS Direct? Hope it goes soon

Aimee~ Scarborough trip sounds nice. We took Chloe to a museum last weekend. We got all giddy as it will be nice to take her to them when she is older so she can enjoy them properly iykwim. Hope Earl enjoys the big fishes


We went to Tesco today for the weekly shop but went to the cafe for food first. I had a super yummy lasagne (sp) with garlic bread and salad. So tasty from there! Chloe was very clingy, wouldn't stay in her car seat (one of those trolly's that you can pop a car seat on). She might be picking up on my hormones maybe I'm going to stop stressing, if I can get extra time off super bonus, but I don't want to spoil these last few days we have together properly before reality kicks in!

Thanks guys. I have got him in just a nappy and a tshirt and I gave him some more nurofen. He seems happy enough now so will give him his bath and put him to bed hopefully lol.
