Jac, my oreo cupcakes were just vanilla sponge, and then crushed oreo's mixed into the buttercream and then piped. Dont know if youve done yours already though by now

let the fondant dry out a bit before trying to cut out the letters

uhm, girls do you stick the letters/shapes on straight from rolling, or do them few hours before and stick them on hardened? There will be some flat on an iced cake board, and some to sides of cake?

I have done them yep...did choc sponge with crushed oreos in and vanilla topping with a mini one on the top

They are lemon and banana muffins the 'white stuff' is lemon drizzle icing.

i think kelly posts her ones but they are topped with roll out fondant so less likely to splat everywhere!!
