Thanx Jac x Has anyone on here made a giant cupcake yet - if so do you have any pics? I was thinking of buying one of those 3d cupcake tins and doing it for my lo's first birthday even though its ages away - i like planning ahead lol!

Both tiers have 3 layers though as I wanted them nice and deep, the mcdougals sponge flour is brilliant though and I always add baking powder aswell

Well i took some cupcakes into work today, and dropped a box of for a friend/local business we deal with ... they had 7 people working their and the owners wife is one of them ... would you believe that they didnt give her one and ate them all, wow, thats shocking, what about ladies first?

Can someone answer me a question please?

I'm going to bake a sponge cake for my mums birthday tomorrow, what can i put in the bottom of the cake tins so my cake doesn't get stuck in them?

Squidge I grease it with margerine first and then I dust it in flour too xx

JAC!! WOW! I love leos cake it is fabulous!!!

Tracey I cant wait to see this one you have done!

I use wilton bake easy release spray for my cakes so they dont stick, all done in seconds and cos I cant stand having marg on my hands

I done a cupcake without the wilton tin, got another order for one in July!
I think it turned out twice the size that a wilton one would be!

kriskitten im not surprised he like it, u worked so hard on it, i would have never attempted the boiled sweet thing...seems to hard for me! LOL it turned out fab!!

well instead of the ballons i opted for stars instead, cut out silver all together, and basically changed her whole design LMAO but she loved it how it was and said she could see what i had mentioned would be better. x

yeah im not a huge fan of balloons, they can look abit blobby in such a dark colour, thought stars would look better! and thought silver would look too tacky

i thought the zebra print was going to be mega hard...trying to get all the stripes different shapes n equal spaces etc....but believe it or not, it was sooooo much easier than normal stripes!! anything goes!
