too late I did!:haha:

Uhmmmmm didn't come out too well though. I didn't have any apricot jam so i used marmalade:rofl: and when I dipped them in the middles of the cake was sat in the fondant bowl  so I just spooned the rest onto the cakes then made up some orange and lemon buttercream, cept I got no butter so used trex... disguised the taste with some lemon juice though and the kids like them!

Okay ladies I need your advice/recommendations for a new icing/decorating set for putting my toppings on cupcakes etc. I don't think I have a nice nozzle which makes it nice and perfect looking like you guys, and the one I have is crap and I feel like I'm always filling it with butter icing as it doesn't hold that much.

Any recommendations would be most appreciated before I go and buy something crap.

Thanks

god that was long.. i had unsubscribed by mistake!!! Was wondering why you were all so quiet!! lol
I was thinking of getting an icing syringe has anyone got one? xxx

Well I've just iced my near disaster of a chocolate layer cake. As I thought it looks okay when iced. I must say though, it is the biggest cake I've ever made, it's just so big! I'm taking it to work tomorrow with some chocolate cupcakes but I'm not sure how I'm going to get it there yet. I may have to put it in a collapsible box in the boot of the car as it's to big for my cake box.
