think im gonna make some cupcakes today!

i have to re make that christening cake on the 20th and have a couple of others to do but not till after that

i got some new business cards made and have made some matching stickers to seal my boxes with they look really good !

i went to a cupcake shop the other day and u know what they wernt anything better than what we could make really but they seemed to sell really well

question though ? is a red velvet cake just a chocolate cake dyed red ??

Yes basically.It's usually dyed red with food colouring or beetroot!
Theres lots of recipes for it online. xxx

Yeh pretty much although they dont taste as chocolatey. TBH i dont like them cos they taste really artificial cos of all the red colouring. You have to use an entire bottle

you guys must have all read my mind......i have a tin of caramel sauce in the cupboard ready for banofee pie cupcakes (i know its supposed to be toffee.....but it has a banofee pie recipe on the side of the caramel tin??!!! LMAO)

I'm going to attempt to do my first iced cake today, providing I can find all the ingredients etc, so i'll post back later on and see how it went!

when i use those blossom cutters - it sticks inside the cutter and its hard to clean - any tips?! I have been dipping it in hot water every once in a while but it still sticks

Right then girls...OH just told me he is doing overtime tomorrow so have all aftrnoon to myself. Its my Friends 21st the Beginning of July and i want to make her some cupcakes and have a little party for her round mine. Any ideas.....
I was thinking making vanilla and lemon and then having flowers on the top...can anyone point me in the direction of a nice flower cutter?
Going to email her to check to see if she wants any particular colours.
