kris what sort of bead cutters? (i have like a beaded edging that came with my ribbon cutter...havent used it though yet.) is that what u mean?

gemgti...no the tatty teddies are the cake topper that the customer supplied, i have a few more tatty teddy cakes coming up which the customers are also supplying the toppers for....i think its hit a 'tatty teddy craze' theres loads been requested at the mo!
think the topper was £5 at clintons xx

andrea the bonnet was a nightmare trying to do all those little pleats before the icinfg started drying out LOL the whole this is supported up to the asshole! theres dowels n boards allover....i wasnt having it leaning this time!! LOL

theres tons of cakes isnt there LOL i sometimes surprise myself when i go back n look through them all at just how many i have made!

wallie....what is he into...does he have a fav hobby, tv program, animal, food, into sweets etc?
have a think of what he likes and im sure in one way or another u can turn it into cake

Hiya!

Wondering if you's could offer some advice for me please.
I wanted to get my mam a lovely birthday cake for her 50th but they are rather expensive!

My question is on average how much would it cost to make a good sized cake, with good decorations etc.. maybe 2 tier?

it was a mass of plastic dowels cake cards n cocktail sticks ha ha
drove about 3/4 of an hour to get it, when she ordered it i thought she was from round here....turned out she was from clitheroe! ha ha hope it survived!

whats everyones next cakes?
i have another drunken cocktail cake and some pink cupcakes to do for next weekend

mummy to amber....the question is...how good are you at making cakes? LOL
if things go wrong the first time, cake not rising etc, it could end up costing alot more because youd have to bake a few cakes etc to get the right height you wanted, if its two tier you need supports called dowels (you can use straws though too), and a cake card. also a cake board for the whole cake to sit on, fondant icing (if thats what u are looking to make?) and then coloured fondant for any decorations you may want to put on it. you can buy paste colours to colour it yourself but if its only a one off cake then youd be left with tubs of paste over.
there are lots of tools that can be used for decorating, turntables, smoothers etc. these can be quite costly, but if its a one off cake u dont need all these things, ur hands alone will be good enough.
how much would you call...expensive?

Well, ive finally finished my lego cake. Didnt quite go to plan, I didnt realise how hard doing the lettering was! Hopefully i'll get better with some practice!

I kinda pinched the idea off another picture on the internet so I was a bit naughty but my friends little boy way made up with it today! And i'm happy with my attempt!

FANTASTIC LEGO CAKE!!!

ha ha i saw that cake picture too n thought it was very clever!! youve done brilliantly from covering, to decorating! i love how the little lego man is wearing that hat! LOL
