Right girlies a bit of help please :flower:

A friend of mine phoned last night and would like an 8 inch round cake for her Dad's 60th Birthday on Saturday. She just wants it pretty plain as he isn't really into anything. So I was thinking 8 inch round white, iced white and happy 60th Dad on the top.

I think it's going to look really plain so want something to stick on the top but what? With a womans cake I would have a flower arrangement but what would you do for a man? x

I'm thinking something like this

https://farm1.static.flickr.com/183/417047106_2ba59f4ac7.jpg

with whit icing and instead of circles stars in 2 different colour stars '60' on florist wire and Dad infront of the 60  x

Yeah hun, if they want it simple theres not really a lot more you can add?! What about the explosion thingies that people do like this if you feel you'd like to add a bit more?:

Obviously round btw x

Think I will stick with what I said and see what it looks like.

If I think it looks too plain I can always add more to it  xx

Just so I can quickly remember what recipe do I use for an 8inch round again LOL xx
