why didnt u think they looked good....they sure look good to me!! i LOVE chocolate!!

coz the oven played up. it doesn't get as hot as it says...so it said 180 degrees but i had to turned up to 230 . It taste good but a bit hard..and i ran out of the double rising powder or whatever it's called only used half what i should have done

well, i'm making a cake for oh on friday and will post the pic here (if it looks ok )

ok guys, i need help now...
I'm making the cake for OH and the sponge cake looks good, but now i'm doing the decoration...

I use marshmallow recipe www.pinkcakebox.com i mixed the colour with it and it turns out awful...the colour is not smooth ...looks really disgusting

Do i need to add a bit more colour in ? or should I change the topping?

I have got my next order, they seen the Barbie cake and want the same but with fairy on it ...... I have to try and change their mind a bit cos I want to try new things!!

Oh well, at least if I do have to do that one again I know what to expect!

so tomorrow i will give some to them so I can start making something new I bought a book about chocolate recipe ,so i can make many thing from chocolate..mmmmmm

I wish they sell more baking stuff s here...it's hard to find things and they are expensive

andrea...i hate the same orders too!!! i just ask them if i can change things ever so slightly...like changin hearts for stars, or colouring abit different, n placing the pattern differently...i find they are usually up for it!

ive already made a xmas turkey, a cake with snowmen on, a robins nest, and an xmas stocking...so trying to think of something a little different. I already have an idea for my fruit cake...but need one for my sponge.

incase ur wondering ha ha i make a sponge cake and a fruit cake every year to put on the buffet table!! so the family has a choice of each!

ive got to make a start on that mummy cake so im gonna make them next week, im gonna try and do some little 3 inch cakes to see what they come out like and what they look like decorated .

im not buying anything for people for xmas , im giving them a personalised chocolate bar , cookies and for the select few a little xmas cake so gonna make a start got 31 people to do for!!
