I didnt turn the comp on yesterday so didnt get time to upload the pic so here it is.

Its my nieces 6th birthday on Monday and she is having a bbq on saturday and I am doing her cookie monster cakes in all different colours im so excited lol

I did cookie monsters for my FIL's 50th if the laptop hadn't died I'd upload photos. I have a HUGE list to buy right now

Laura - nope, I made them myself from fondant - hence why they're all slightly different! Lol

I lobe cookie monster cakes - it was a toss up between ducks and the cookie monster for my nephew, but I realised he wouldn't have a clue what the cookie monster was

My niece is going to love them! Im so excited to do them.

I thought they were lovely Cocoa! Thats why I thought they were the wilton mould.

Soooo, I spent another £20 yesterday on moulds, I got them from the proper sugarcraft company and I have some of theirs already and they are great. I cant wait to get them. Got a trophy, lips and a baby vest.

Has anyone got any tips for baking a cake in a round pyrex bowel? My friend wants an igloo on top of the cake, and I wondered if any of you had some experience in it...

Laura - where do you get most of your molds from? I want to try some, but I'm not really sure where to start. Are they easy to use?

I want some moulds too but because I'm not really making them for anyone at the minute I dont know which shape/style to go for x

I have just done a cake in a pyrex bowl, I used a 3l one I used a recipe that was for a 3lb bowl & 2 0.5l bowls so it would need adjusting.. 15oz of caster sugar, butter & sr flour, vanilla essence with 7 eggs, I baked it for 1 hour at 160c & about 25 minutes in pop some foil over the top to stop it burning.
Oh and definitely use some cake release as it makes it so easy to get out of the bowl.

I've had another commission! An old family friend contacted me on FB after seeing pics of my cakes, and she's asked me to make a small dinosaur cake for her son's 3rd birthday. Very scary!

Does anyone else struggle with what to design their cake like? I've got so many ideas for the dinosaur but I'm not sure which one to pick. So indecisive! lol

That epic bake was today. 48 burger cuppies (which take 96 cupcakes to make) and 48 "standard" cuppies for a year 6 leavers thing at a local school. My back is KILLING now xxxx

Girls, I'm pooping my pants - I've just got another commission!! A camping themed cake for a 7 year old's birthday. I created a very rough FB page for my cakes last night, I hadn't sent links to anyone but a few of my friends saw that I'd 'liked' it and now I've got 10 likes and another order. Eeeeek!
