Ahhh I think I've figured it out!! Off to try out my new method!! xx
I mixed the butter and sugar then added 1 egg and a spoonful of flour until all the eggs and flour were mixed in, could it be my method?
where can i get coloured rolled out icing?

what size tin are u using and what amounts are you using...
