brill cake!!!
ive currently got a lemon cake in the oven, one of four!!! going to be a wedding cake when its finished HOPEFULLY!! :rofl:
 
I've been making rainbow cakes, they're SO cool! Have a bit of an obsession with baking, relaxes me :) Poor Jack's going to be huge :rofl:
 
I can't cook very well but I wanted to post the cake my mum made (from scratch) for Savannahs christening. She did the decorations and everything.

Indeed, she's very talented. She did a cake decorating course when she had me while on maternity leave and that was the first cake she's decorated in 20 or so years.
 
lovely cake sarah....i wish i could do a cake decorating course.....all the ones round here get cancelled just as they are about to start!

almost done my wedding cake now....should be finished tonight!

its finished now....just need to get some pictures sorted!! im so glad its finished, ive been stressing about this cake for months!! its for a footballer so no pressure!! :rofl:

Btw, just looked on your facebook group and WOW! your cakes are stunning!! How do you advertise, or is it just word of mouth? I've made a few birthday cakes etc, and was interested in selling more... but now I've seen the competition I think I'll hang up my pinny! :rofl:

dont be daft orange-sox!! i think some of my cake are awful....especially as i was starting out with no equipment whatsoever!!! stick with it!!
i dont advertise, it was all through family and friends at first, then word spread! one of my friends made a group for me on facebook and i seem to have got more off that too....try making a group on there will some pics in!!
