Calling all BFP virgins!!! Perpetual "One Line Only" support group!

Hi ladies.

I'm having my first really bad day since we started TTC. I'm a pretty stoic person, so I've been handling everything fairly well so far. But I think a few things have built up on me today so I've been sitting at work all afternoon nearly in tears. And I never get teary.

It's looking like I'm just not going to ovulate this cycle, so there goes an opportunity following my HSG, and we're going back to the specialist next month. I guess the next step will be clomid, which will be a relief really, but I was hoping we wouldn't need it. We've just hit 12 months with absolutely nothing, and I just found out on the weekend that a close friend of mine is 9 weeks. I'm really happy for her of course, she'd been trying for 2.5 years and had 2 rounds of IVF, then got pregnant naturally, but it just adds up.

Anyway, pity party over :)

Hi Ladies! BFP virgin here too. I'm 13dpo today , haven't been to sleep yet so I haven't tested yet today but BFN since 9dpo. My LP was 12 days last month so I figure AF should be showing her head today but really crossing my fingers that she stays away and I can finally see a BFP. Anyone else close to testing?

BFP virgin here, as well as a +OPK virgin! I haven't taken that many HPTs yet, but have done loads of OPKs now.

TTC n Hopeful- I'm testing tomorrow. I had two BFNs last week and two on this past Sunday. I'm not sure when/if I ovulated though.

MissyLissy- My OH was also adopted so completely understand! I think he's so broody (he's more broody than me) because of wanting that genetic link as well. I want us to have a baby so much because I know how amazing it will be to have this child that he loves that looks a bit like him.

Hey Ladies!! BFP Virgin here as well.. TTC for a year about 4 years ago and never saw the double lines EVER! So here now I'm trying again. Lost 30lbs, got in a better and happier relationship actually, taking vitamins, gave up caffeine and have a donor thats willing to give up the baby batter more then once a month also started using OPK's. so hoping all the new positive changes will have a better impact.. This is my 2nd cycle trying and im CD8.. look forward to sharing the journey with you ladies :)

@Missy, I'm so sorry she got you. It just sucks. Sending massive hugs your way! I completely understand feeling like you are letting your other half down every month when AF comes.

@Palladium, sorry you're having a rough day. Massive hugs to you as well.

Welcome to Hopeful, AshNAmber, and Fezzle (are you stalking me? Wait, you are :) )

If you ladies don't already, I highly suggest starting a journal. It can be a good place to keep track of things and become friends with like minded people. Plus I like journal stalking. Feel free to stalk my journal (disclaimer: if you are offended by foul language and occasional crudeness, this probably isn't a journal you would be comfortable stalking).

I was your FIRST stalker. Don't you forget it!

I thought about doing a journal. but when I write it would be more or less mini books and prob all off subject about whats going on with TTC lol it would start with that and end with all kind of other stuff thats going on in my life.. lol

I would say that probably 80% of my journal isn't directly related to ttc. :) I have revealed more on my journal than I ever thought I would.

Hi *hugs* we all have days like that and they truly suck :( sending positive vibes your way and hoping you get your BFP soon ^_^ x

Hello ladies - also a BFP virgin. TTC since November 2012. I am already 35 so I have a doctor appointment next week to discuss fertility testing and options. My temping is all over the place because I also am not a good sleeper.

I took a break from the temping over the summer, but started back up after being 4 days late in August - 2 BFNs then. I started using a fertility monitor and soft cups. I have preseed for this cycle and switched from prenatal vitamins to fertileaid. Hubby did the OC sperm check test this last weekend and it was positive - so he has enough swimmers.

Baby dust to all!!

Thanks ladies, I'm feeling better today. Chocolate, ice cream and a hug from DH helped a lot :)

Do you use dip strips or digi OPK? I use both. I was really afraid I wouldn't O but when I decided to start TTC I went to the vitamin store and spoke with a woman, she helped me look up different meds to help me. I've had endo in the past but haven't been checked for yrs now so I figured I wouldn't O. I'm thinking the vitamins she suggested really helped. Do you take anything? I take vitex, paba, mucinex and prenatals.

Temping is the worst. I just started back regularly temping too when I got my pos opk so it was pretty pointless because I don't know my previous BBT but at least I will get back in the habit of doing it everyday. Baby dust to you as well!!

I actually did start a journal. It's probably buried somewhere in the TTC journal section. I only made a couple entries, never picked up any readers then forgot about it. Maybe I should resurrect it though.... I originally thought it would be a good outlet for me.

CD2 and flowing like a river! TMI alert. This is about the point in my cycle where I give up mourning last cycle's BFN and start looking forward and thinking maybe *this* month is it. Start my letrozole tomorrow for my fourth shot at IUI. Really hoping I'll only be a BFP virgin for a short while longer!

Hooray for new starts! I so hope this is it for you!

And, yes, you should resurrect the journal, or just start a new one. :)

Well it looks like I will remain a BFP virgin another month.... gah! I'm so tired of buying more tampons!!!

another day of being a BFP virgin...hoping for some amazing results on Friday at 12 dpo with a FRER....

You are brave to test early. I'm the opposite of a POAS-aholic. Pregnancy tests and their stupid perpetual one-line, white as snow bullshit pretty much ruin my life. I'd rather live with the hope in the TWW then have my dreams come crashing down a few days before they have to.
