Calling all Fur-parents!

He's acting like himself still and my mom put polysporin on the wound.

He's doing better thanks. The swelling is gone but it's taking a little while for his fur to grow back. Plus it looks like he was bit by something. We haven't let him out since.

Is he being fussy cause you wont let him out? Glad he is getting better.

My oldest has been slowly losing weight. I hope nothing is wrong, she is our most active cat after all. We have a vet appt for this evening.

So the appt went well, all her labs were normal. Vet wants us to check her weight again in a month. And she needs one tooth removed. Going to do that next week.

Hi,
I haven't been around in a while. My dog is still doing well... nothing new to report here.

I did just get new babies. They are not really mine, I am their foster family for the shelter.

They are young female gerbils (don't know their exact age, but they are not fully grown yet). They came to the shelter in a large group of mixed-sex gerbils, so they are now on pregnancy watch. So far, no sign of upcoming babies but they wont be in the clear for another 3 weeks.
I might adopt them, but I am waiting to decide. If there's no babies, I could adopt both, but if one has babies, I would probably adopt the mom and one daughter.
The shelter named them Kiza and Liza. But I am nicknaming them either Arya and Sansa or Nymeria and Lady, depending on the day :haha:

Awww, how sweet! I'm not hoping they have babies, but if they do I can't wait to see the photos! :haha:

I fostered kittens once. I was not happy witht he outcome since it turned out they had feline lukemia (one died at my house, the other they put down), so I decided I couldn't do it again! I was just too sad.

I can't believe I caught this on video! We were preparing leftover roast chicken. She wanted that chicken soooooo badly and was trying to figure out how to get it.

Cuuute! I love when my kitties do that. Looks like she knows better than to get on the counter!

Ohh she will get up there when she can. Her lower two vertebrae are fused together. Not sure if it was accident or abuse but with her previously broken back she can't make those jumps. When we first got her she couldn't even make it two feet onto the couch cushion. Now between "kitty strength training" and the prednisolone she can do about six inches short of counter height.

oooh, should have known there was a reason why she didnt just go for it:haha: Poor dear, I hope her back doesn't give her too much trouble. How old was she when you got her?

Oh, yay! I've been looking for a pet related topic. My husband and I have 3 dogs - a GSD, Border Collie, and another Border Collie puppy we're picking up this evening! We also have 1 cat. :)

Come back and share pics with us, Srrme! What is a GSD? You guys have you hands quite full!

I was thinking German Shepherd, but then I was like....but what's the D? :haha:

We think based on her teeth she was 3-4. She grew a bit after we got her which is consistent with main coons and siberians.

Yes, we need puppy and kitty photos!
