My friends dog run off with bubs bib and then she put the bib back in my nappy bag right next to Sophie.

my LO's sophie goes in the dishwasher. so i cant see why not.:winkwink:

You don't need to sterilize it, even after that. Just wash with hot water and soap.

I think you can wash it just be careful not to get water in the squeak as I thought that made the squeak not work?

You could always wipe over with a Milton wipe if you're worried but I'm sure it's fine xx

It will loose the squeak i believe..... I spray it with milton and leave it to dry, you don't need to rinse the milton off

I'm a scruffy ming-bag. I just give her a quick baby-wipe regardless of the situation!

My friend put her Sophie Giraffe through the microwave steriliser and it lost the squeak.

we heard Sophie squeaking the other day - dog had found her. Just washed her in warm soapy water.

I'd go with warm soapy water TBH. My friend's Sophie lost her squeak when she got washed but once dried out she found her voice again :)

I might wash mine now just to lose the squeak! Bad mommy....

A Milton wipe like a pp mentioned is what I would do. Although my dog is a nosey thing and sniffs most of Lo's toys so using Milton on the odd thing probably isn't worth it for me although I do to make myself feel better.

I am a scruffy ming-bag too. LO eats floor food occasionally (where does she find it?) so I figure a bit of whatever else isn't going to harm her.

I steralise sophie. I wash her in hot soapy water too.

If you sterilise, the squeak will not work.

I'd just wash it in warm, soapy water. My LO is only 4 months, but i'd probably just wipe it quickly. Then again, the dog licks him to death and loves sticking her tongue in his mouth, so don't know what good it would do washing everything lol.

I just wash ours with a hot soapy washcloth, but don't immerse it because it will lose its squeak.

I killed the squeak in sophie first day we got her running her tro the microwave steriliser. She didnt get i back when she dried out...probably a good thing as have 3 labrador dogs and she sounded just like on of their toys!!!
