Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

Hannah never did gag much, she took to solids fairly easily :hugs: sorry to hear LeeAnne is having such a rough time

I think I'm having a rougher time  I cant help but panick everytime she gags! :hissy:

The first time we went to an 8 mo + jar we had gagging, and we had some gagging when we initially started finger foods. I'd say I only deal with it once per week now.

My response was supposed to be longer, I'm just stupid, I think I erased it

We have had 2 gagging puke episodes also.. I always want to switch back to like liquid purees for a few days after (like stage 1 jars! lol) but instead I just cut things up small now, I find toast is the worst culprit for gagging for some reason  Or anything "dry" - so I make her have some of her sippy cup between every few bites, even if she doesn't want to hold it herself, I will hold it for her so she can take a couple sips and kind of "rinse" the food down?

I'm hommmmeee....

The dentist broke the top back half of my tooth off. FML.

I am going to lay in bed and be depressed.

:hugs: Eww that sucks! I had similar when I had my wisdom teeth removed - I was finding little slivers of teeth and jawbone in my gums for weeks, because they did a crappy job:sick:

:hugs::hugs::hugs:

Wendy -  Seriously????? That sounds gross. And definitely doesn't help your terror of the dentist!!!

I just spent so much money. Oh my lord. Something got into me and I just bought her another 80 dollar jacket from Please Mum. Not like she didn't already have a snowsuit or something..oh my wallet.

Rae...I'm not trying to make you feel worse than you already do, but... They sell clothes for kids that cost EIGHTY DOLLARS for a JAKCET????????????????????????????????????

Terri - thanks so much for the recommendation! I know there's a zillion different nursing tanks out there so it's good to know a good brand. Glad to hear you got some, Amanda!!

Jaylene - when I saw that picture of A on facebook, I have to admit I looked at the sleeper first :D It is SOOOO cute! Love the little horsie :) Of course A is dashing and I love that hairdo so much. Die with love, right there.

Anyway, this sleeper talk brings me to a more important point:

Tasha! You ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!! :flow: :flower: :flow:
Thank you SO much! I was giggling like a little girl when I opened your package! CUTEST ONESIES EVERRRRRR!!!!!! Girls...Tasha sent me 3 onesies and a fuzzy chenille Roots hat (with EARS! :D) - so generous!!! Lovely bits of baby delights! The onesies are totally perfect. They have cows and horses and sheep and pigs and ducks on them in the perfect style :D

I'm guessing you sent them to me because I sent you those ice cube trays (mostly as a joke! :D) - but WOW! You went way over the top! I love you...thank you SO much!!!! :happydance:

Stiina - Kyle is depressed about how physical his course is. hes already got a shoulder injury to deal with from last tour and now theyre doing hand to hand combat (flips/punches/defensive manouvers/pressure points.) tomorrow he has the Canadian Forces Xpress test (up to level 6 on the BEEP test/25pushups and crunches) and hes afraid he wont pass. they have to be physically fit to be on the course but he just did the battle fitness test a month ago..... so he shouldnt HAVE to do the CFXpress test. but alas he is...... and theyre picky. if he doesnt pass this test tomorrow morning he is off of the instructor portion of the course, and therefore gets sent home. he is being looked at for an advance promotion to MasterCpl, and if he fails the spotlight will be off of him. and that sucks.

sooooo ALL LADIES!! pleeeeease send super happy fitness vibes to my hubby in Wainwright for tomorrow morning!!! we both need him to pass this, even though it means a longer seperation.

Wendy- sorry about the dentist. i hate hate hate when they fuck things up!!! :growlmad:i hope your T3s help you feel better. orrrr at least stoned enough so you forget!! :winkwink:

Terri - ok, now that i looked at this babysteals website FINALLY. i think i looove it. do you know how bad the duty fees are? or how that even works? i have noooo idea. :dohh:

i got my poop mans money ready to goooooo and Chauntelley is crying. god she spits up alot of booby milk:dohh:

My physio appt went well this morning!

I was so flattered to be told that I have great balance and flexibility for 31 weeks!!! When not pregnant I have terrible balance and flexibility - I guess pregnancy evened out the playing field.

Shawn thinks it's because I've always had a proportionally larger butt and now my tummy is acting as a counter-balance:rofl:

Justine I saw a kid's jacket at a boutique here in town...for 150$!!!!!!! I didn't even recognize the brand so I have no idea WHY it was so much money! It was for a size 9M! I still can't believe it!!!! I find a lot of baby clothes are WAY over priced!

So ladies...we are off for the weekend tomorrow after BJ gets home from work. We are going to Portage for the weekend...BJ is going for a final interview and if he gets the job it could potentially be the best change we could ask for!! They are even paying for 2 nights hotel room at a VERY snazzy hotel (well as snazzy as Portage can be ) So a mini vacation for us :)

*SUPERHAPPYFITNESSVIBES*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Go Kyle!!!!!!!

Amanda - I love Shawn. That's something Kalevi would say!! Love it! Glad to hear your physio went well! Are you going to go back? I loved going to my physio. They are always so helpful and they always want to see you get better. Not that you have anything 'wrong' with you, so it's not the same...but it seems like physio people just care so much about you!!!

Rae - I am suprsied! I didn't know clothes for kids would ever be so expensive! Like maybe if you bought your kids designer clothes from France or something... But from a place that sells clothes in a mall? I never would have expected it!

Em - YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!  -ok, $80 for a toddler jacket is lots, but $150 for a BABY jacket is just plain robbery!!!!!

Oooooooooooooooooh, I am SO excited for you and BJ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have a BLAST this weekend and I am sending *SUPERHAPPYINTERVIEWVIBES* towards him right now :D

Good vibes in all directions. There's more where that came from! Who else needs good vibes? I'm dishin them out like chicken pot pie!!

Ok so here is the video. This is a MILD case of gagging. It looks likes shes yawning but she's gagging! Usually tho we have the whole noises and whatnot. :( And as you can see she says F the pincer deal, I'll just use my whole hand to grab food :dohh:

Stiina - I was thinking I would make it a weekly thing during my mat leave (which starts next Friday), but she said that unless I have questions about how to do the exercises or things change, she doesn't need to see me again! She said most people have follow-up visits to gradually increase the difficulty of the exercises, but that there's no need for that since they will naturally get progressively harder as I get closer to my due date!

Maybe I'll try chiro next - can you tell I'm just trying to milk my extended health benefits? But seriously I want to get my moneys worth!

Em - question about your video: How do you share a video on photobucket without making all your stuff public? I've been wanting to post videos, but don't want just anyone having access to all my albums.

Aaand she's still asleep! Okay, that's crazy! I can honestly say she's never had a 3 hour nap before! Going to wake her up, I'm worried if she sleeps longer then she won't sleep tonight!

Good luck Kyle and BJ!

Gymboree isn't bad if you catch the sales  I don't think I've every paid for anything full price from there. The clothes are gorgeous though

Rae - I think Tasha just bought that jacket for Elyse! Its so cute. Yes Stiina, there is expensive baby things out there. Thats why we are all broke

full price is very expensive I do agree. I can't actually stomach paying full price  Hannah's clothes are almost always on the clearance rack
