I think when they're ripe they are soft?? They are usually rock-hard from the grocery store though if you've just bought it..

I bought 2. 1 is quiet hard the other is soft (I thought that meant it was going bad LOL!) Has anyone tried giving Kiwi? Is it ok to give that? I LOOOVE kiwi and am eating some right now wondering if she can have any.

I think kiwi is okay, but I am worried about seeds. I read somewhere the seedy fruits should be okay by 10 months +?? But seriously my brain is fried I don't even know what day it is usually

We gave Hannah kiwi early on but I probably should have waited on it. It is a fruit that pretty commonly causes allergies (in the same family as tomatoes apparently ) and Hannah has had reactions to both (fingers and mouth break out in a rash)

The Goodness of Kiwi: (one medium fruit)

Kiwi fruit (chinese gooseberry) is rich in vitamin c, fiber, potassium and even folate. Kiwi is not a high allergen however it is acidic.



The acidity of the fruit may prompt mouth rashes and possibly rashes on the bottom.



We recommend serving kiwi cut into small dices or mashed between 8 to 10 months old. If your baby has shown any food sensitivities, you may want to hold off serving kiwi until she is between 10-12 months old.

Whoever said the Pekkle sleepers fit small WAS RIGHT!! Holy smokes!! I just put leeanne into one so she is a bit comfier then her jeans..its a 12m one and she may get like 1 month use out of it! It sucks because we have like 10 12m ones

Stiina - you had asked a long time ago about what kind of clothes were good for breastfeeding (I think). Anyways, the babysteals today are my FAV bf tops. I wear them under normal tops instead of a nursing bra.

I know that they are sold out, but at least I thought you could take a look at them.

Oooh good to know - I already bought a couple of them last time I was in the US, because my SIL recommended them.

pekkle still fits A pretty right on, actually he wore a 9 month one last night and it fits like a glove, however CARTERS are small small small!

Re: clothing.. I found Carter's fit large, but we are lagging behind in clothing sizes. I feel so out of the loop, I don't know what the heck Pekkle is. lol

Carters clothes seem to fit Hannah small to, length wise at least (of course we are generally out of clothes before they ever become tight on the waist because she's so long)

Carter's normally fit Claire bang on. Although I like to get more wear out of them so I've been buying 12m sizes in those. Please Mum, Joe Fresh (jeans at least) and Old Navy fit so small on her!

I find some of The Children's Place fits small but some doesn't! It is soooo confusing!
