Ashlie I was the same. I chose to get baptized. I was brought up Baptist, and they don't baptize babies, they "dedicate" them (which is what we did for Claire) and then when they are older they make the choice.

The Church (IMO) is corrupt in alot of things. My youth group leader was charged/convicted of being involved in a child pornography ring. Mainly little boys. I know I shouldn't base all of churches against the ones I've known... but I do.

I believe in God, I follow the bible... but I don't listen to a minister preaching at me on Sundays. I believe that rather than just making a 'show' to other people that you're a "good christian" by attending church every week, I make it a practice to SHOW people I'm a good christian by leading by example. Trying to treat others the way I would like to be treated. Loving people, and giving respect.

Sorry if that offends anyone.

I'm similar, I believe in God but I don't believe I have to go to church to prove I do. Same as you in the treat others like I want to be treated and so on.

You know what I have noticed? Every time I take the effort to make a post about something that Lakai is or is not doing that worries me, he stops doing it the next freakin' day. I swear to god it's so weird! I posted about Kyle not being able to get him to sleep...now they are nap buddies. I hope this carries on till he is a teenager....you will just see random posts from me like "Lakai keeps talking back" "Lakai wont clean his room"...

It can induce labour, yes, so don't drink it before 36 weeks or something to that nature. It also (apparently?) helps tone the uterus which in theory is supposed to give you more productive "pushes" while in labour.

I drank it after 36 weeks. It didn't induce labour in me, but I don't know exactly if it helped tone my uterus. I pushed for an hour on the nose with Claire. Other people have done like 3 pushes and their LOs are out!

If your talking about red raspberry leaf tea it doesnt induce labour at all. Its safe to drink your entire pregnancy which is what I did. I still drink it now because it helps with cramps etc.

Evening primrose oil shouldnt be taken before 37 weeks though.

All the herbalist and websites Ive researched say it shouldn't be consumed before 6-8 weeks. It's probably precautionary but still.

That being said. There is a difference between "red raspberry" and raspberry leaf tea.

I did the RRLT way before 6-8 weeks? Jasmine was born at 39 weeks.

The only thing that does worry me about herbs, is that not everyone reacts the same right?

Like Mothers Milk tea did nothing for me. But three of the herbs from the tea taken separately in capsule form, worked wonders. Why? I have no idea.

I suppose its better to be safe with something like herbs because there is no set reaction to them. It may have been safe for you, but what if someone else did that and did go into early labor? I dont know for me I would rather be safe than sorry.

I once took herbs for allergies.....and I was allergic to the allergy herbs..haha I swelled up like a BLOW FISH!

Ohhh cd31 and no AF!!! Im thinking....wont jinx anything by saying it. But it sounds hopeful!
