Canadian Moms & Moms to be!

Once they start drooling it just gets worse and worse. At 8 months it just is pouring out.

That's absolutely WONDERFUL!!!

I wonder when it gets better.. I don't drool.. so it has to someday, lol.

 I asked B's Grandma, when do they stop drooling and when do they stop shoving everything into their mouth and her answer was... when they damn well feel like it.

I bought some Orajel, used it once, and I was so scared I never used it again. I just used tylenol and I bought one of those rubber things you put on your finger to brush their teeth and she munched on my finger and it did not hurt my finger and she seemed to love it.

haha :) Good point!!!

p.s. after many ruined eyebrow-waxing attempts (with zillions of different products), I have given up and I now go to the salon every time I need to get it done! I've spent more money test-trying every produce in Shoppers than I have going to the salon :p
I also get my pits done (I know you're probably thinking, eeeek!!) so it's a double visit - makes it more worthwhile. (The pits are not as bad as you think!)

OMG I can't imagine getting my pits waxed, I would cry like a baby.. how long does it last? If I'm gonna put myself through that I want to be able to justify the pain, lol. I don't grow much hair there but I also hate to shave it.

I love getting my brows done at the salon so much, it's one "luxury" I will never go without no matter what Elyse throws at me, lol.. her dad can do it solo for the 10 mins it takes!!

Wendy whats the kit called??? Im really bad at plucking, I always take to much off so I'm afraid Ill screw up waxing too!!!

Oh and I saw the video of Helena and elmo and the drool just POURING out of her mouth at the start, so funny!!!!

Tasha I find LeeAnne SOOOO much more clingy!!! She wanted to be held all day, wanted to sit on my lap and stare at the laptop!! SHe was very smiley today! Almost had her laughing! I posted a video of me trying to get her to laugh! I have to say Powwwww and twist my head to get her to laugh-she grunts with a huge smile and tries to push the laugh out, its so funny (the video tho was just of the floor, anytime i take out the camera she shuts up and goes into a trance and stares at it LOL)

I wont use any kind of gel-but I will use tylenol

Elyse had Tylenol 2x today and it worked. Made her feel better and about 45 mins after giving it she had a nap after a bottle. I've got like 8 zillion washcloths, so I'm going to freeze a couple for her.. as her teethers are wayyy too big for her little mouth.

Oooohh also today in the mail I got Pampers coupons that expire in a million years (in 2010 sometime) anddd a sample diaper with their 4-6 month booklet.

And you know what size the diaper was? Size 3!! I don't think Elyse will be in size 3 for quite some time still.. size 1 are still roomy enough on her.

Does anyone else have a little shrimp of a baby?!?!?!?

Winnie the pooh has some really good ones at Zellers. They are a ring and nice and small! LeeAnne loves hers!

Ugh I'm thinking about going to bed soon. It's 12:45 ATM here.. I don't feel tired I just feel like I'm up at this hour for no reason when I could be sleeping and it feels silly. Even though I will probably lay in bed for a long time before I fall asleep!

Im laying in bed right now, yay for laptops!!

Im having a really hard time tonight with the idea that LeeAnne will be 4 months old on the 27th, so I took her out of the crib and dragged the basinette in beside the bed and put her in there so I could feel like shes a little baby again  I guess its just bothering me because the first month was soooooooooooooooooooooo hard that I remember wishing it away and wanting time to hurry up when now I wish I could go back to that time and be all snuggly with her :(

Aww I know what you mean.

Sometimes I wish Elyse would hurry up and get bigger so her clothes will fit LOL.. but I absolutely love her at this age right now and it'll be sad to see it go away.. and I miss my little newborn baby so much :( The quiet little cuddly thing who wanted to be swaddled and slept and had that sweet little cry..

:sad2:

Em - we bought the bright starts bouncer to leave at andrew's parents place so that we didn't have to keep carting our other one back and forth all the time! And it is weird, he's on a big incline, that i HAVE to strap him in, otherwise if he has a kicking fit, he's gonna slide right out!
there's no way to adjust it that i've found... cause andrew looked!

I get my shot today... Depo.. i don't care if it takes longer for me to have another baby, especially considering I don't think i want another! LOL... plus, that's something I'll plan into my TTC'ing if we do decide... I'll stop taking it long enough ahead of time.... speaking of my shot.. since i'm on day 3 of my first period, do you think she'll still give it to me?? please say yes.. lol.

OH told me he wants to have another baby in a year.

It was the Alexandria eyebrow kit from Shoppers. It has a little stick so you can't wax off your whole eyebrow, and maybe it was a sugaring kit? because I did not need to use that nasty oil to get the wax off, it washes off with water.

I tweeze, I cant handle waxing anything,.

This honestly did not hurt at all. I am gonna go look for a bigger kit today.

Come over and do mine

Only I like when it hurts a little bit? I don't know why. It's therapeutic I find

talkative bunch

I don't tweeze it makes me cry  Much rather have my eyebrows waxed and have the pain all over with at once

Pit waxing is a pain but for me, shaving is waaaaaay worse. I have really "pitty" pits - ok that doesn't make sense but my I really have to work if I'm going to get 'em all shaved off..and every hair grows in a different direction... ok! Way TMI !! The first time I got it done I bled :'( It was horrible but I was practising to get them done for my wedding so I kept telling myself it was worth it!

I had that kit too, Wendino. But it was by Veet. It's just water-soluable wax, it's not a sugaring kit. At least that's what mine was! It worked ok, but I have HUGE thick hairs and it sometimes couldn't grab them out and it'd just make a mess. I agree Tasha...going to the salon is a small thing that makes you feel like a total babe, and if it only costs $10 a month, I'm not giving it up for the world!!!

Have a good day ladies! Sorry for the novels every day but it's hard to catch up when you can't check back often during the day :p
