CD1?? ...Please Help!!

Please pull out a calendar – I need your help! My AF was not due until December 9th. I started spotting from December 8th – 11th. I had heavy flow from December 12th- 14th, then it was gone. I used a CBE Digital OPK on December 22nd (O). I took the CBE Digital on the 24th and got a smiley face and again a smiley face again on the 25th and 26th. (because the OPK sticks were leftover from last month – I took my last one on the 26th in the morning)… We BD’d 2 times a day during this time. I am assuming I am in my 2WW, however – I don’t really know what is considered my CD1 (December 8th or December 12th). Please reply …

You count CD1 as the first day of real flow, not spotting. Spotting being, just when you wipe and you probably don't even need a panty liner. That's how I classify it for myself. So in this case you should count your CD 1 as December 12, when you had to start wearing a pad. Hope this helps.

It's hard to tell sometimes what CD1 is, when you have to put up with spotting. So if you had positive OPK on December 24-26, I think that means you could test around January 8 or so?

AnnaLaura: That makes total since - I should see it that way (calculating from when I saw the smiley face) instead of trying to figure out when CD1 is... I was so anal about TTC for the past 3 months, but when I kept getting I said forget it and just have fun . I wasn't really even keeping track of when to take the OPK test, (plus with the holiday season I was quite busy), but something said, "take the dern thing!" and when I did, I saw the smiley face ~ low n behold I'm back at obsessing again!!
I'm going to focus on the New Year Eve (my teenage son is dating now - so I need to make sure he and HIS girlfriend stay faaaaar away from a ) and also start my New Year's Resolutions (getting in shape)... Good luck to everyone in 2012!!!
