Well that's good, and to be expected! Plenty of ladies assured me that cramps are normal but my doctor is still worried as they can get really intense. The worst of it is in my legs though so that part is a relief. Your estimated due date is my BIL's birthday

Well af started on Saturday... I think With all the spotting, I just cant be sure anymore haha. It's still very light. Lighter than I've ever had, but enough for me to use pads etc. I guess I'll know for sure if it finishes in the next few days.

Dragonfly - I hope the cramping eases up, you poor thing. It doesnt sound like anything to worry about but I know you're probably a bit concerned. Try to just relax and enjoy your little bean gorwing inside you

Andi - Wb! Aww you're such a cautious mama. Sorry you couldn't completely relax in Mexico but at least you got away for a bit before you wont be able to travel xxx

I did check the website out. They definitely deliver to the UK. I might be joining you on that tea real soon You mentioned that your blood tests all came back fine but you still got a pcos diagnosis. How did they decide that? I'm just wondering because the same thing happened to me. I have all pcos symptoms except for blood tests but my doctor wont say it's 100% pcos which means no referral or meds for ages. You and your hubby sound so sweet by the way, aww

itsnowmyturn - Sorry af got you How did the doctor go? I hope they didnt try to fob you off. I have everything crossed for you hun. I know you'll be ntnp so you'll be far less stressed but I hope you can also get some answers/help from the doctor. You will be holding your little bubba soon hun.

Welcome back Andi hope u had a great time despite yhe food dramas.

Dr did exactly what i thought, it sounded like he was reading out of a textbook!! Givig ke all the shpiel about 80% of people under 35 conceive within a year and another 10% on top of that within 2 and there's no reason why i wont get pregnant even with my past history of endo and doing blood tests now won't alter anything and Il still be told to wait a year blah blah blah blah. I will go back to them when I come back off my holiday which will be another 3 months and Il bug them again. I did tell a couple of porkies I.e. havijg sex 3 times a week all the way thru the cycle lol, what they don't no doesnt hurt them and I can't lie about how lony which super sucks because I really wud.

Melody glad ur af finally showed, hope ur next cycle is better. How much longer till ur at the 1 year mark?

Melody - I'm hoping that it's af so you can start new! Maybe it's so light because it's been a while so your body isn't sure? Weird periods definitely happen and it's so frustrating. I wonder if you should get a second opinion about the pcos, since your current doc wont rule it as 100% but you have all the symptoms.

Thank you My blood work came back good today so I'm going in on Monday for my first u/s. I'm so early we wont see much but I'm so excited.

Itsnowmyturn - That really is awful that the doctor just passed you off. Makes me so angry that most of them do! They just say well keep trying, I bet if they were in our shoes they would sing a different tune. I am so frustrated for you! I wish I had something better to say Hang in there, it's going to happen.

Thanks, weirdly I felt ok about it, i think its because i expected it more than anything. I no which Dr i want to go see next time, she has always been very helpful and doesn't just assume stuff she listens etc so Il go see her next time. Il have been trying for 9 months by then so they may he more inclined to listen

Lol itsnowmyturn I think they really do read from a script. I got the same speech. "Trying for a year blah blah nothing they can do blah blah" It can be so exhausting fighting with them. You've got the right idea though, go there again once you get back from your holiday and see the Doctor you want. My fav doctor is on sabbatical at the moment. She would have had me tested and referred quicker than I could blink lol. It will be 9 months for me in May.

Aww Dragonfly your first u/s cant believe it! You must tell us everything hehe. Yeah I just checked again and it's definitely not spotting. Just really really light af

Itsnowmyturn - I'm glad you're alright I hope that you'll be pregnant before needing to go back to the doctor.

Melody - Too bad that you're favorite doctor is on sabbatical, I wonder if you could call around and just ask what other doctors would do or something. Although they're not always helpful on the phone. I know I called plenty and got the "it's not my job you have to ask the doctor." type of response. For being in health CARE, there's a lot of not caring people out there.

Do u no when ur Dr is due back? I don't no if this Dr will give me the same script written bull or not but she has been awesome every other time and is really sympathetic n stuff so its worth a go. I get frustrated and my cycles are more normal than urs so I can only imagine how annoyed u get, I can't believe they won't refer u, that was one thing that the Dr said....because I'm having periods at regular intervals (his term regular n mine must be different) that it means things are likely to be ok. I think i really need to start spouting pure bs next time and say I'm no longer having periods and don't no if im ovulating etc lol they will soon test then

my periods were late, and I started to have some facial hair, and my hair falling like crazy!! it was GREAT!! LOL. So i decided to go check with an endocrinologist. the blood test came back 100%, only low Vitamin D, which she gave me a very strong prescription of Vitamin D and the hair stopped to fall!! yay for that!
So she told me, that even with the blood test good, I still could have pcos, because I was late, facial hair, regular hair falling down.
So I called my Gyn and told him that the endocrinologist was requesting a vaginal ultrasound because she was thinking I had pcos. He gave me the prescription and once u do the ultrasound u can see that the ovaries have little holes on it, which is the cysts on the ovaries.
So because of the pcos, both the gyn and the endocrinologist told me to go a RE, and guess what? Both recommended me the SAME RE!!!!

Tomorrow is our 4th anniversary!!!!
today is my CD16, i may have ovulated on Monday, not sure... too good to be true to have my first normal cycle with no meds or bcp.
Maybe is the tea already working??????

I ended up telling close friends and family pretty early only because my DH couldnt keep it a secret and started telling people. I still havent told my coworkers or boss yet. We do live in a small town though...word travels fast so I was debating telling my boss incase he hears it through the grapevine. Im just not ready for everyone else at work to know though incase something happens.

Melody- yay for a new cycle! Hopefully this one will be shorter for you.

Itsnowmyturn- when I went to the doctor because of my 110 day cycle they looked at me due to how long my cycle was because it can be dangerous to not have regular cycles and thats how I found out I had PCOS. They didnt start me on Femara until after a year though. Its annoying and frustrating, but it will happen for you eventually.

Pri - Hehe I'm definitely counting down the days! My best friend is in town over easter weekend so I might tell her because it would be more fun in person than over the phone.

Andi - if you tell your boss you could ask them not to share as things are still early, I think they would understand. I told my boss right away because I didn't want my symptoms telling them for me when they start up fully.

You got pregnant with what? were u on any meds or it was just "natural"?

I was planning to have my crown on my tooth done beginning of April, but insurance took forever to approve, and I havent done yet.
The idea was to take care of this in April and do a IUI on May.
But for some reasons I am having second thoughts.... crazy, I know!
I guess because I realized I didnt try anything natural before doing clomid and ovidrel.
Has anyone here tried Fertilaid?

Melody - How are we doing? Have you sorted out what dates to get the goods from your donor? Although last cycle was insane I'm praying this one will be much better and that your body was just working through stuff preparing for good news.

Pri - My dentist either wants to crown a tooth or fill it, they can't decide. Either way I told them they have until I'm either in second tri or after I deliver to decide, my gyno said no go unless it becomes an emergency because they want to sedate me with my fast gag reflex And that would be bad for baby.

By the way, we managed to do it naturally after 11 cycles! We were set to start femara on cycle 12 but got our bfp. We're both over the moon that we did it without medication.

Andi - Did you decide on when you would tell your boss?

Pri- I got pregnant on my second cycle using Femara. We were trying for almost a year and a half with one very early miscarriage last May.

Dragonfly-I told my boss yesterday but told him I wanted to wait to tell others. Time just seemed right to let him know. He was very supportive.

How are your symptoms? I don't seem to have much which is making me very concerned and what I did have went away like my sore boobs. I dunno if it's because I've had a loss before but I seem to be the only one who can't accept that I'm pregnant. I get mad if my DH starts talking about the baby or touching my stomach. I'm so scared there won't be a baby in there when I go for my ultrasound. I want to be happy that I'm pregnant I'm just so scared to loose it or to find out it never grew. I'm still taking pregnancy tests to see how dark they are or how many weeks it's telling me....so far so good but I still can't shake this feeling.

Andi I'm glad your boss is being supportive! And excellent choice on asking him to keep quiet until you're ready to tell everyone else I think the anxiety about being pregnant and wondering how things are going is normal because I'm with you. I'm always thinking what if my blood was wrong or something happens. DH keeps trying to keep me thinking positive that all is fine.

I still have tender boobs, but they're not too bad anymore. My nipples still are though, I bumped them with my pillow last night and I swear it was like electricity shocked them! The only time I get nausea so far is when I'm too tired or get hungry. And some smells are triggering it, like a few smells I found at work yesterday, it was a close call. I'm sure everything is fine with baby and you'll be seeing them on an u/s soon! When do you go in for your first u/s?

I'm not sure yet I just got referred to a different doctor because my family doctor doesn't practice obstetrics anymore. My first appointment with my new doctor is April 29th. I'm going to ask him then when my first u/s will be. Then I have another apt with my fertility specialist May 6th.

Well at least you'll be 8 weeks by the time of your first doctors appointment so they'll probably refer you in for an u/s soon after That's exciting!

When I got my reminder call for my u/s on Monday I asked what to expect since I'm only 5 weeks now, the lady was totally shocked and put me on hold to confirm I should be getting one now since it's so early. I guess it's just to check for ectopic but she said we'll probably at least see the sac. I'm going to pester my doctor after to see if I can get another u/s around 8 weeks so I can hear the heartbeat.
