Yes i know im mad as we still waiting on summer ect but i have a hubby and 2 kids and by christmas 3 kids and i struggled so much last year im gonna start shopping early.Hubby and baby are easy to buy for and my boys are kinda easyish lol but as i walk around shops each week im gonna pick summit up each time so i build up on stuff..And as my baby will be 2 months old by then im not gonna have much experimental cooking times, so im gonna experiment on what ill make sweet wise for christmas and try and discover new recipies for the season...Am i the only one starting early ?

Im SHOCKED!
It's way too early yet.. i leave mine till about the 20th
xx

we used to go in oct/nov and get it all, but we found a lot of prices dropped in december so we just leave it till then now

Yikes, that is early!
I don't even think about it until november usually, though I guess we may have to be a bit more organised this year, but on the other hand I won't be working so won't have to stick to weekend shopping

WAY WAY too early for me. Come back to me in about 7 months.

Last year I started in May but this year ive not even thought about it yet

I've bought all of Theakstons stuff for his birthday in July & Christmas. Money isn't amazing for us and I was doing a lot better on mat pay so I just went mad in the sales and got everything for him. It's such a weight off my mind, and I'm already trying to plan other relatives so I can keep my eyes peeled in the summer sales for bargains or buy a bit every month.

I'm going to start in the summer sales to. Like you just getting a bit each week. My problem is hiding it from hubby and not giving it to LO before xmas. hehe

We save throughout the year for Christmas presents but don't actually buy until November/December.

Oh crikey. i forgot about christmas

hopefully by then i'll be back at work after Mat leave & OH will have started a new job... heres hoping, or its coal and clementines for us this year ;)

I'm not going to even going to think about shopping until maybe Sept-ish! Way too early for me!

I usually leave it all until the last minute but we've said if theres sales on, we'll have a look and see if theres anything decent going. If not, we'll just start christmas shopping after we come back from holiday in October.

We already have about 10 pressies for LO for her bday/xmas (her bday is the 20th dec),but like you we will be buying all year. We mainly buy if we see somewhere closing down or having a sale, but if I see something I really like I just have to get it there and then

Summer sales are when i start! Im NOT and i repeat NOT going to go crazy this year! I say this every damn year but i seriously cant this year!

I nearly started last month just picking up bits but i got birthdays to get through yet and the fact that if i buy early and end up having way too much stuff again.

We will be having a very frugal christmas this year. Toys from DS will be repacked and wrapped for BOTW (baby on the way) as s/he won't know the difference. I've picked up a couple of winter clothes for DS in the sales this year ready to wrap for his birthday and christmas and as soon as we know the sex of this baby I will be buying the stuff to make my new decorations (I like to make them personal for our family) and advent calendars as well as some home made presents for both LO's. I left it fairly late last year, this year I have to start early because I remember trying to do my christmas shopping and prep with a newborn in tow (DS was 6weeks on his first christmas)

I've started thinking about it! I always say that come September I'll start buying stuff and then all of a sudden it's the 2nd week in December and I've done nothing! I am going to start putting money into a separate account though - just hope I can resist "borrowing" from it.

Too early for me too although if I saw something now that was a bargain I would probably buy it to stash away! I normally start in September time but Iv been putting money aside since January.. If I don't put money away I would only panic nearer Christmas that Id be too skint to afford it :haha:
