Christmas at home or elsewhere?

Who's staying home for Christmas and who is going elsewhere?

I am debating what the heck to do. If we stay home, my MIL, who doesn't like to venture from her house, probably will not come. At the same time, it's nice when she cooks the meal as then I can relax and enjoy my day with the kids but that means venturing out that day. And this year I think it would be nice for the kids to enjoy their day at home with their new toys.

For the first year ever we will be staying at home for Christmas dinner. My hubby and i have never had Christmas just us we always had to go to my mums. This year i have put are my down and will be having it just the three of us. We will quite happily visit everyone but want to have our first proper family Christmas

We are going down south to my parents. No cooking for me, and they get to spend LO's first Christmas with her cos they don't get to see her much.

My Mom cooks. They only live about 20 minutes away so we will do the Santa thing with Rocco and then head over there for "dinner" which we always eat at about 2 in the afternoon which I've never understood. That's more like lunch to me! Lol but that's what my family does.

we will be at home 1st thing and then going to my sisters and then back home for mid afternoon lunch. and round my nans boxing day.

We have people coming to us for dinner 7 in total

We're at home this year .. if we ever go anywhere its only to my mums, im a realy "homely" person at christmas, i could never go away on holiday or to stay at other peoples houses

I am going to my mums. This is my first Christmas in my own home but I wouldnt think it was Christmas if I didnt go to my mums and spend it with all my family. I mean thats what its all about. I love going there. I have everything I need there and I dont have a messy house to sort the next day lol.
I wouldnt go abroad for Christmas. My boss goes to Australia to be with his family but I couldnt go. Its all about being over here where I live!
