Well after a weekend away I've messed up taking my opks at the right time, had a darker one sat morning but I took the second too late in the day and it was really faint. My temps were a mess as I can never sleep away from home! Oh well I'm still fairly confident I ov today, been having my usual twinges and cramps for a couple of days. Fx the preseed has helped us this cycle!

Emma - sounds promising with your opks, keep at it and I'm sure you'll get that dark line soon enough.

That is definitely positive! BD now! Hopefully you have a longer surge than I do, mine go from no line to positive in 24 hours and O that day or early the next day!

we bd'ed about 4 hours before I got that positive. and 3 hours before we bd'ed my opk was dark but not positive. going to bd again tonight.

Yep, definitely positive! I normally O the day after my first positive so I'd get bding straight away!

Got my first flashing smiley today - excited that Ov may be earlier this month but distrustful of the advanced monitor as it gave me 2 false positives last cycle. Will do a cheapie at about 4pm to see if there's any darkness in the second line

I quite like the cheapie opks, although I haven't tried anything else. Bit annoying that you have to get the timing just right (just like everything else when TTC!!) that's why I missed it this cycle.

AFM - had a huge temp dip today which I freaked out about, but after a bit of googling it looks like it's a fallback rise. Anyone know anything about these? I get the impression it doesn't mean too much?

Hi everyone, this is my first cycle officially TTC/NTNP for #1. Just waiting to O around mid-Dec because I have long irregular cycles. Hopefully I can test by Xmas, but I expect it to be nearer to NYE.

I guess it could be, but I'm normally very regular and o on cd13 and I've had my usual post o cramps, all gone now. Plus I had a darker opk sat morning and was expecting a positive sat afternoon but I wasn't able to take one until late on that day and by that time it was paler (had been to the loo loads as well) who knows! I'm not stressing though, if we've missed it then there's nothing we can do. Just hope my cycles haven't started changing!

It looks like your temps are still in the pre-O range though... There isn't a drastic temp spike. I would just keep using the cheapies, and keep BDing

I know, starting the think I actually o'd yesterday now. I do tend to have a slow rise for a couple of days post o, so it would make sense looking at todays temp. Wish I had carried on with the opks now

AF due Dec. 9th. 8dpo today. i hope I can have a bfp by the end of this year! Pops addict, but trying to hold out, maybe until tomorrow. 😊
I wasn't ovulating after quitting birth control for almost a year! I cut out sugar and started ovulating that month. I'm convinced sugar so messes with my hormones which is not something I want to do while Ttc!

OPK's don't really matter as long as you BD'd . It looks like your temp is coming back up so it probably was an O dip. My Opk's are always negative day of O and positive the day before. BD!
