I’m so stressed from this move and it hasn’t even happened yet! Remind me never to move so close to Christmas ever again.

Anyway, DS’s birthday is coming up fast and I still have to buy his cake, cards and banners x

I’m beginning to see what you mean lol! I’m usually on the ball with house moves but with the current circumstances it’s hard to see if it will even go ahead, I’m reluctant to buy too much stuff incase it gets cancelled/delayed at last minute but at the same time I don’t want to not order things incase I don’t get them in time

Its a really tough one, and doesn't allow you to feel organised because you can't tick all those things off your list.
I think we definitely set expectations for ourselves and for occasions like Christmas that no one else has. Like I've bought loads of stuff for the elf to bring and worrying about coming up with new ideas for him to do, but ds4 hasn't mentioned the elf at all. He'll be as surprised when he turns up this year as he was last year.
