Christmas things in shops when?

Anyone remember when most Xmas stuff tends to b out by? Planning a day shopping for bits and trying to decide when. Don't wanna go to close to due date but not sure they're out in oct!

Where I am they start bringing their stuff out in september. We have shops near us that have already put out their bits and bobs. Its mad lol. Although I love it I'd wait a little while yet.
October would probably be best or 1st week in november as then Halloween is out the way!

I would say by Oct most things will be out but after Halloween everything will be out and all the christmas offers will start?

I've seen things in Boots (cards and wrapping paper) and some foody bits in Tesco, but I'd imagine they'll all start getting everything in around the end of this month/Oct.

Alot of the shops here already have there christmas stuff out,
plus are christmas shop opened over the weekend, can't wait to start buying christmas stuff

Yeah end of Oct is a safe bet, I've seen stuff in all the supermarkets, Boots, and the Christmas specific shops that open once a year like Hawkins Bazaar and those random independent ones that open in rented (normally empty) shops are open now too.

Although alittle miffed , went to buy some Birthday Wrapping paper and the shops didnt have any .. it was completly filled up with x-mas wrapping!

It is all about Boots for me! As soon as the Boots Catalogue comes out I am full steam ahead for Christmas! I love looking through it and thinking about what to get from it and then going to those Christmas Nights they do when they give you £10 of points for every £50 you spend- getting excited already!!!!

The Boots at Straiton had some Xmas things out ut it is not a big store so not a big choice. No catalogue though......

My local Boots has about 4 rows of Chrsitmas gifts in and Tesco is selling selction boxes already
