HI! I am New To B&B. DH and I have been TTC for 2+ years. I just finished my 7th cycle of clomid with no success (did not ovulate at all). Has anyone Had success with Soy Iso after clomid Failed?

Hey kwaggy! I'm in the same boat! I haven't had quite as many clomid cycles as you, but it's certainly not working for me. I did soy iso's for three cycles before I did clomid and it worked in terms of ovulating eac month (which I didn't always before) but it didn't work completely as I'm still not pregnant. :)
I decided to try something kind of extreme this cycle (approx cycle 19 of TTC), I'm doing soy iso's now, CD's 1-5, then doing my prescribed 150mg of clomid CD's 5-9. If everything goes well - i'm hoping for good multiple follicles - then we'll do another IUI. Doing both the soy and clomid is kind of a questionable process, but it's been discussed a lot on the TTC twins website and I read all their feedback on it before deciding to try it. I'm almost to the point of trying anything, since we can't reall afford to move to IVF yet.

Have you ever tried soy iso's before? Man I'm getting some awful headaches and hot flashes from it. But previously I liked how I could feel it working, you can almost feel yourself ovulate!

I hope you have success with the Soy Iso and Clomid combo! I haven't tried the soy iso yet. Im trying to see how my cycle goes without the Provera or Clomid, Im on CD 36 with no signs of ovulation and no temp shift!

My OB wont prescribe the clomid anymore and has referred me to an RE, which my insurance wont cover :( Im really hoping the soy iso will work

Sorry about the no ovulation, that really sucks :( Would you be up for trying acupuncture? I was on CD 45 when I started acupuncture, and I got my period like 2 or 3 days later. I still go once per week, have been for 10 months, and I feel like it really helps my cycles to do what they should do. Jus a thought! I know how much it sucks having to pay out of pocket for specialist stuff, so I tried all kinds of natural stuff. Did the acupuncture, soy iso's, circle and blooms meditation CD's, supplements, etc. I hope your cycle starts to progress, fingers crossed for you!

Thank you! Ive never thought of trying acupuncture, I will have to look into it :)

I tried soy - 3-7 (120mg, 120mg, 120mg, 160mg, 200mg) and i bled from O day (which was 2 days earlier than usual and i nearly missed it on CD11) to AF. so just be aware it's not for everyone! I lost 1 cycle, but for me it was worth the risk as after 11 years you'll try anything once. But just be aware that it can screw your cycle up if it's not for you. GL!

I have tried soy 4 times and I did o all 4 times, and got a bfp on one of those cycles (that one was an mc) after clomid failed. I've since had another mc, and am waiting for af so I can try soy again.

Sorry about your m/c :( Does Soy Iso have an increased risk for mc?

Not that I've read, but pcos apparently does (which I have). There is a thread on here somewhere all about soy iso and a lot of gals have had success with soy in there. When I get to my computer I'll try to find it and link it for you...right now I'm on my phone :)

ETA:

Okay, I'm back at my computer! :) Here's the link for the soy iso thread: https://babyandbump.momtastic.com/ttc-groups/271211-soy-isoflavones-natures-clomid-785.html

If you have any questions, many of the gals should be able to answer them. :flower:
