Clomid !!

Today has been a very odd day for, I have been sick to my stomach, constant headache and very sore boobs. I am not sure if this is the signs of ovulation while being on clomid but they are annoying but that makes me hopeful i guess. Still waiting on my OPK test and more pregnancy test from amazon, major mix up and now unless I go get them from the store I can't test and they are so much cheaper online and hate to have to spend twice as much just a store.

Anyways how is everyone else doing? Anything exciting?

Oh a little of both!!!! Lol and now one week away from visiting my Dr of blood work and test and hopefully scheduling our first baby appointment for a bundle of joy and not going for round two of clomid!!

I have to take my National Board Exams in order to move on and start my dissertation paper. As for me, today I am in a horrid mood, nothing is wrong. just grumpy! LOL. Sore muscles, gassy, sore legs, bloated and I feel that my bbs are a bit sore too, but not a lot. Oh and VERY tired..slept 14 hours. SO again, not sure whats all about. Just just waiting.

I know the feeling of schooling! So there as well!!! My boys are 5 and 6, very much of a handful! I feel like I am just sick, my youngest just got over being sick an I think I caught what he had! Booo so I am home rest now as I need early for te baby dance, couldn't have picked a horrible time to sick

Well I just had my day 12 bloods taken even though it is only day 10, day 12 is sunday so that wont work as the labs are closed and I work on monday so yeah day 10 it is. The incompetent lab worker couldn't find the silly vain so was poking it round so much. I think I will ask for the other lady next time, talk about OUCH.

Cbmd You should see if you can change doctors? We go through the public system too but I managed to change. The frst doc we had was so rude! It seemed like he was behind and wanted to use our time to catch up on his day. Honestly it was a 2 min consult in which time he told us that he doesn't like clomid, we already have a child and we are pretty young. Unless you can afford IUI or IVF Go home and have sex, see you in 3 years if it doesn't work!! What an ass!

2x 55mg b6 complex
Folic acid
And of course our lovely clomid too.

I am having a much better day today. May have some thing to do with the great last night lol. You should have seen Sam face when he saw me flashing him from down the hall. It was SOOOO classic! Our friends SO knew that something had just happened they had missed and you could tell they wanted to high five Sam as they walked out the door lol (the friends that came over are all guys, most of which are single) Still giggeling to myself about that one

Yikes!!! just got my blood work results and it doesn't look great at all e2 was only 262nmol/L So I have to go and get another test done on monday to see if it gets any better but now I feel awful! Last month my levels were over 1000 and the month before that was 690 ish. Hopefully it was just too early and I haven't peaked yet but I was expecting more than that! Nurse said that it MAY turn out to be ok and should test again to be sure. Does any body know how much your levels are likely to raise each day? The test was only done 2 days early.

CRAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Only CD 10 yet and it seems hope has gone.

Sorry you are not feeling well. Thats not good. I will say a prayer for ya!

I got my progesterone levels back today, its 29.6!!! I was amazed! Its always been, 2.6 or 7.6, last month it was 11.3. The medication is doing what its supposed to do, thats a great thing!

trying hard - i wouldnt worry - like you say test was done early so theres plenty of times for things to chnage!
How did you change doctors? did u have to tell the one you were seeing u wanted to swap? i suppose not being monitored i have no idea whether it working or not so no stress till the months over!!

Awww, no good that you are feeling crappy about the tests. Remember that you tested early and your levels are like a bell curve. But I know how you feel, since my O is taking its time this month... just prolonging everything.

You are so cheeky with your flash to get hubby to BD lol. We often require a bit more planning as our 21 month old has to be asleep during BD time.

Keep your chin up, everything will turn out alright sooner or later, don't worry yourself too much. *****baby dust ******

Yeah It always needs to be a night time thing with us too as Madelyn likes to get in our bed from about 6 most mornings.

Yeah I googled loads of estrogen levels throughout cycle charts and it may be ok...It most likely wont be great though but ok may work.*crossing fingers*


What is GREAT though is while Sam and I were talking last night. (I got annoyed at him for being practical when I just wanted a hug)(I was hurting because of my shit numbers) Any hoo he said that if the clomid doesn't work and If I could pick up a few more hours of work (I'm looking anyway) then we could do an IVF in about a year I think he is finally coming to see how important having another baby is to me. (he would be fine with only having the one) I guess its just nice to know it may not all be over in 4 months when the clomid is gone.

I mean hopefully it doesn't come to that but I have a sinking feeling that it may.


At least we live in a country where private health care isn't completely out of reach without insurance cover like the U.S. (our insurance specifically excludes all fertility treatment) So it will be around $5000 which is heaps for a family basically on one wage but comparatively cheep.

Yeah, IVF isn't for us, I don't think. If the next 3 months of clomid doesn't work we will have to get hubby's sperm checked. We are only going off my luteal phase defect at the moment and trying to correct that.

I guess IUI would be our next stop. The fertility dr said that we shouldn't need IVF and if I didn't have Lupus he wouldn't have kept seeing me and would have said to keep trying naturally. Lucky he kept seeing me so I got the LPD confirmed.

Anyway, great to hear that hubby will do IVF if it comes down to it. I hope that it works for you soon. I know how you feel with all the hopes and dreams floating around in our heads. Have a good weekend!

So we were out car shopping for me today yippy. And have found the one we will be buying. Just need to do a couple of things then pick it up tomorrow!!!! That will put our savings way down but will totally be worth it in the long run as I will be able to look after more kids and earn some more money.

(I look after two other toddlers in my home as a way of a second income/play dates for Madie) Will be great not to have to share one car with Sam from now on but scary not having savings sitting in the bank. Yikes.

Well I am up early, our oldest has a soccer game this morning! Oh 830 am is way too early for those things! haha!!! However, I just feel all my symptoms have stopped, and I so scared that we have missed it! It says to stop testing with opk after your positive but after the way i felt when i woke up, i tested again and its still positive, not sure what that means because its been 48 hours since my first positive! Confused and I have been doing this for years, every month is different! I guess I am starting to think that i set my hopes too high for our first round of clomid! Or i am just down and out today!!!

Don't mean to bum anyone else out! Its just going to be one of those days!

Hope everyone else has a better day than mine has started out to be! My sister, brother in law and two nephews will be in town, its all fine and dandy except they are expecting their third child and its a girl so I kind of envy them at the moment!

How is everyone else? What are your plans for the weekend?

So we bought my new car today!!!!!!! So thrilled. Sam is Jealous because my car is better than his lol.

So I go and get my next bloods tomorrow morning and I am starting to feel my overy getting bigger and gearing up to release a folical. *fingers crossed* that numbers have gotten at least over 600. Hopefully over 1000 but that doesn't seem likely anymore.

Hi bmavery, I think my O has happened today or is happening tomorrow. Have been getting lots of CM and BD a couple of times over the last few days, luckily my husband got over his virus just in time.

So, I will be going for my bloods tomorrow to test my levels around ovulation. I hope everyone is doing well !

hi ladies...just looking for a bit of encouragement......first cycle of clomid on day 12....dont feel any symptoms at all....all opks totally negative...just feel like it isnt working ...x

Just keep testing hunny. You may just O a little later on clomid. up to 10 days after the last pill is still completely normal. I forgot are they monitoring you at all? Maybe you need a higher dose.
