Clomid !!

just got my bloods back and they were 984 so I should O in the next 2 days yippy. So in 3 days they went way up from 262. So relieved!

Hey everybody!
I would like to join if it's ok.
I tryed to read all the posts but, there are definitly too many.

I am 26yrs and my dh is 31, we have a daughter who is 7 yrs and have been TTC for almost 4 long years now! I started Clomid on september 1st 2011, and am on my 5th cycle of it with no luck yet only one more cycle after this!! hoping to get a BFP on the 1st of feb!! I didn't have any side effects whatso ever until this cycle Major sweats at night my dh even noticed and asked what was wrong..lol I had extreme head aches, moodiness, tiredness bloating agh just everything felt wrong this month. I was thinking maybe all the side effects were a good thing and it was actually going to work this cycle?? Praying for a miracle.
I am glad to see that I am not alone but, also sadden to see so many people with this issue.
I also seen someone on here has endometriosis, Don't give up!!! My mom tryed for 8 long years to get a bfp, she took clomid and had surgerys but, was told it would never happen!! Surprise she got pregnant after she gave up 3yrs later my sister is 16 yrs younger then me but, I got my sister and my mom has her angel!!

Just keep testing hunny. You may just O a little later on clomid. up to 10 days after the last pill is still completely normal. I forgot are they monitoring you at all? Maybe you need a higher dose.

Chin up hunny I'm sure you will get your baby soon.

thanks...im not getting monitored at all so cant tell whether its working at all....suppose i can only wait and see!! ive got 3 months at the same dose until they review it.

Cbmd, I didnt ovulate until day 21 this cycle, last month was day 17. So, even with the clomid my cycles are not regulating. Hopefully it will help to get a healthier egg and then the progesterone will hold the pregnancy. With my luteal phase defect, even the clomid did not help to keep my progesterone elevated after ovulation. Well, I pretty sure O was today, so had my blood test, will call the dr and see if I am right tomorrow.

thanks so much for that....i wont give up hope yet!! the doctor i have is so rude - i hardly ever see him and he just said expect to ovulate 12-14 no further explanation or nothing...but i dont even have any periods full stop so dont even have a normal cycle...x

Hi everyone! I'm new here, needed a place to go where everyone is going through the same things! I'm 35, and have been ttc #2 for almost 5 years now. First one happened naturally and he is almost 6 now. Tried clomid about 3 yrs ago, and had a BFP on the second round, but lost it almost immediately After that was diagnosed with bad endo, had surgery then went on Lupron for 3 mnths. That was a year ago, and now going to start clomid again! This is our last hurrah, hoping it works and sticks this time! Right now I am cd1, with clomid 50mg days 3-7.

hi kel 21....i also conceived my first child naturally although it did take years, so we were prepared for the struggle again! however i was hoping it wouldnt take as long - but its looking the same way......im on my first cycle of clomid 50mg days 2-6, no side effects...on day 13 and no ovulation as yet no postive opk either......so just hanging in there at the moment......not being monitored so no idea if its working...just got a 3 months prescription to take. x

Wow, no monitoring? My dr won't give me any refills till I go see him so he can make sure I don't have any cysts! His office is about 80 miles away, so I wish I didn't have to go back every month! The only other thing he tests on me is my progesterone. We took on cd 21 before I started clomid so we could get a baseline. It was 5.9. Not horrible but not great. Hoping it really goes up on the clomid! I hate all the waiting!

yep no monitoring at all!! i think in the uk some specialists do it that way, proabably lack of money/save money etc...........its ridiculous really...i had one blood test to start with...at no particular time...he just wrote off a prescription in about two minutes and i was sent out the door!! dont go back for 3 months!xx

Cbmd. Have you thought about getting the day 12 and 21 bloods done anyway? They are not covered publicly for me either but over here are not allowed to do clomid any other way. It costs $50 NZ dollars (25pound) each month, and for piece of mind, thats not so bad. Just an idea?

Welcome to the group Kel21, Hopefully your stay here is a short one. I know what you mean about the waiting It seems like I have spent the last few years waiting. Waiting for O, waiting for the witch, waiting for doctors, waiting for tests, WAITING FOR OUR BABYS!!!!!!! Our whole life is in limbo at the moment making two sets of plans. One for if we do and one for if we don't get pregnant. Sam and I have been engaged for 3 years but I don't want to be huge for my wedding so wont set a date but seriously how long do you put it off just in case?

Yippy for Oing Shelly. Nurse said I would O either yesterday or today so we will give it a couple more goes then its onto the two week wait we go. I don't know what the labs are like over there but I can get my results about 3 or 4 hours after they are drawn, you could probably just give them a call early and get the results. (I am super impatient when it comes to results)

Just took my first tablet today!!!

Haven't felt any side effects i don't think!?

I'm in very high spirits but i'm on a day off tomorrow, after starting work thursay 830am, i'm here until tomorrow 830am!!

Looking forward to the fact i may fall with clomid FINGERS CROSSED first cycle!!!

I O todayish so marathon just about over for us. We have done it every day since CD9!!! Getting more than a little sick of it but at least I don't have to twist Sams arm to actually get laid. lol Will dtd today and tomorrow just to be sure

I am a live in carer for the elderly & work with people with severe dementia and alzheimers.. Very hard but rewarding job!

I'm really hoping this is the answer for me.

I've just paid off all my debts, i'm relaxed at work, no stress going on around me, financially comfortable, and first round of clomid.. WHAT COULD GO WRONG?! lol..

Not being monitored, doing 50mg, so will see how this cycle goes, here's hoping!!!

Only downside to working so much and other half doing shifts is less time to BD!!

Sarah - tell me about it! Have been temping for about 6 months. Oct was a funny month as we got married and went on honeymoon and I forgot my thermometer! But last month was my first in clomid and my first relatively normal temp chart.
Any suggestions???

Good luck babyBoyle!! bugbabe.... Im tempting but I don't understand it very well...my temps seem all over the place..I really want to think positive but have a really negative feeling!! I hope I ovulate soon as im getting tired of bd'ing for so many days in a row!!! X
