I'm sorry I cannot offer any advice about ovarian drilling as I have never heard of it before. I'm very new to any sort of infertility and as of right now I have only gone through one round of clomid and nothing else. Best of luck to you my friend. I hope that you find the answer you're looking for on these boards.

So earlier tonight I took an OPK again (later night this time) and it appeared darker than before. It wasn't 100% positive by any means, but it's getting darker! Sooo I decided to get to BDing.... here's to catching that eggy this month!!

Yay!! Lines are lines! The three in a row were Friday/Saturday/Sunday. I hope you get your progression line too. The two week wait is going to be killer this time!

Can I just say I never felt O before but today, wow! Lots of cramping. Guessing the Clomid worked?!

Hi Crystal,

Congratulations to you. Hope that all will go smoothly. I took clomid for almost a year. Well the first time around the Fertility specialist prescribe Duphaston and Clomid 50mg for 6 months. Nothing worked. lol.

Then I took a break for 3 months before i started back on clomid 50mg +Povera, then with 100mg and 150mg. My body doesnt seem to have response. I hardly have any side effects .


I think most of the time those who take clomid will hv some hot flushes and also cramping now and then. Its a good sign and perhaps if time and hormone levels are good you might end up getting pregnant. I wish all the best to you ya.


Its good to have people TTC here and all are willing to share their stories. heheh. Well right now im left with two options that is the IUI and also the Ovarian Drilling.

VERY EXCITED !! My lines are definitely getting darker . I started testing Sunday and got a faint line Sunday and Monday and today when I tested it was MUCH darker but not as dark !! Im excited :happydance: . We started bd yesterday so hopefully we get our blessing . When should I test again though ?! Tonight or should I just hold off until tomorrow ?! Ive been having LOTS of pain and cramps lately ... Im wondering if its just because of all the follicles growing ? Im not sure .



Emeraldy what is ovarian drilling exactly ?

Jordans_Mommy - congrats on the darker lines! I tested at 12 hour intervals and within 24 hours my smiley disappeared! I'm in the 2WW and barely grasping at reality now LOL!

(psst.... just a side note - my Mom was told she would never have children - and here I am today! *RIP Mom*)
 
congrats on all your positive ovulation lines...

So I am now CD8 (clomid days 2-5)and have been doing my temps for the last two days but with all the hot flushes, I am constantly above normal temp. Is it still possible to chart temperatures while on clomid or should i just go and buy some OPKs and be done with it? And also do the hot flushes last all cycle or will the die away?

Mine have come and gone ... but then again every so often I feel flushed. Not sure!
 
Im sure this cycle was a bust for me . For some reason I started bleeding yesterday and it hasnt stopped. Im not sure whats going on . Any suggestions . My lines on my OPKs all are the same darkness I think so Im sure I havent ovulated yet . What do you ladies think ?!
 
Aww I hope that it's just a glitch! Can you post pics of the OPKs so I can give my take?
 
So I decided to be CRAZY and POAS this AM... wasn't hoping for anything and I got nothing. But I'm just crazy and want to make sure I can see a strong progression starting from nothing to (hopefully!!!) something :o)
 
Hey girls hope you don't mind me joining in??:flower:On my first round of clomid 50mg days 5-9 unmonitered as doc away... My doc says days 5-9 only improve the quality of follicle that's already there. So next month he moving me 2 50mg days 2-6 monitored as taken earlier produces more follicles. What dose are you guys on an what days?? I'm currently day 12 got high reading on fertility moniter this morn so lots of bedding getting done. What day has everyone else being O"ing??trying to concieve 2 years noes soooo frustrating have endometriosis an tilted uterus along with LP defect taking b6 150mg to help. Tried cyclogest 400mg but shortened my cycle 2 21 days:growlmad:
 
:happydance: I got my SURGE !! But sadly Im still bleeding but Im happy I got my surge at all so this cycle wasnt at all a bust . I was sooo shocked that I got it . At least I know it works for me . I go for a day 21 progesterone check this Tuesday .

Crystal I hope you get you BFP this month and Ill be attempting next month .

Kazzababba I took 50 mg clomid days 5-9 currently Im on CD 18 and I got my surge on CD 17 (I got my surge late) . I also wasnt really monitored this cycle ... it was more like take it and lets see if it really works for you .

Jordans_mommy you could be having an ovulation bleed it's quite common can happen from egg bursting out of ovaries you should google it. Did you bed anyway just 2 cover yourself?? We started bedding fri an will do up till day after the big O determined this month :winkwink: had a chemical pregnancy last month which was kind of disheartening. But we all got 2 stay positive:thumbup:
 
so I'm CD 12 today, had my bloods taken today and will call for results tomorrow... Hoping all is well, I am starting to feel some action down there so I'm guessing O day is just around the corner. We have been BD every seccond day since AF left (CD 5) and will be going at it every day until I know O has happened. Getting this close to Christmas I am getting desperate for my BFP.
 
Trying-hard what days did you take your clomid?? We are on same day of our cycle ,hoping 2 O soon as well but not feeling much. But have 2 agree would be great 2 get a positive just befor Xmas :winkwink:Second morn of high fertility on moniter. How are you guys testing for big O dose anyone know if clomid affects the clear blue monitors results? Befor clomid was O"ing on day 18-20 so hope I don't have wait till then.
