I haven't had any spotting since yesterday morning which is looking good. I went down for the blood test today - thinking to myself that I'd poas tomorrow ... I got a call from the nurse saying the hcg level is 71 at 12dpo, which she says is good (average). She then said that the dr wanted me to have a pregnyl shot (hcg) to help support the pregnancy and to keep using 800mg of progesterone. I was and still am slightly confused as to why I needed that shot since I wasn't spotting anymore. Plus he only wants me to have the one shot. I guess anything that makes this pregnancy similar to my last loss makes me very nervous - I had a hcg shot last time to stop the bleeding. I'm anxious because I guess I don't want to waste another 4 months if its not to be. Again sorry if this sounds selfish, I should be counting my lucky stars, but maybe not being hopeful is my defence so that if I expect the worst, then I can't be disappointed ???

I am crying my eyes out. Just read that hcg shot is a category x drug and shouldn't be used when pregnant as it can cause defects. Severely regretting getting the shot today

Oh Shell. I'm sure your doctors know what they are doing. Bubs will be prefect. You have so many people in your corner wishing you only the best.

Sending so much love and sticky dust your way. The odds of something going wrong by using the drugs must be smaller than the risk of miscarriage without it so worth it in the end???

Now stop googleing and enjoy ever day you are pregnant. I have a feeling though that this is your sticky one babe

Angie I am doing good. We found out we are having a girl. I try not to post much on here but I do check on you girls very often.

Shelly that might be the case if it is used further in your pregnancy. I think it just helps multiply and build faster this early in your pregnancy. If your body is not producing enough of the hormone early on then it won't support the pregnancy so I think they are just giving you a boost. Don't google or you will worry yourself to death. You doctor knows how hard you have been trying for this baby and they are there to help you, not complicate the problem. I understand how it is to loose several pregnancies and I even still worry with this one. I will be praying for your sticky bean.

Thank you Sarah and Andrea. I know I'm stressing myself out and I know there's nothing I can do now but hope for the best - I did read (I know, stop reading ) that it can be used for luteal phase defect and I guess that is my case. When I next talk to him I will be sure to ask exactly why it was needed in my case, just because for me information is power - especially with my condition, I try to learn as much as I can so the drs can't bamboozle me.

Again, thanks for the support. I will keep you all posted with my blood test next Friday, so we can see what progress has been made. Xo

Well, still in MO. My mom's funeral was yesterday. dh left today, but ds and I are staying a few extra days. Of course this is the weekend my egg popped, didn't want to waste a month so hopefully we caught the egg. The tww begins!

Me, DF & Honey Stayed At MIL's Last Night And Woke Up To A Nasty 2 Day Early Shock... AF. TBH I Don't Know How I Feel About AF, But I Can Say That Last Cycle Was Different For Once & So Is This Period. I Didn't Have Many Symptom's Which Was Nice For Once (As I Feel Pregnant Most Month's) & I Didn't Have No Sign's Of AF What So Ever, She Just Showed Up, No AF Cramp's & No Back Ache... It's Nice To Be Painless For Once. x X x

Also I'm Quite Excited About This Cycle. I'm Going To Try A Few More Thing's This Cycle & Will No Be Revealing Them Until AF Or BFP (For This Cycle). x X x

Glad AF was painless for you this time Jess. Hopefully a sign of things getting better? sorry I haven't replyed to your PM I read it while busy then I forgot… We didn't really have much stuff. I got over the whole thing and stopped buying crap and never tested so yeah.

How are you doing Shell? Spotting still staying away?

I had my scan this morning and got to see bubs who is measuring perfectly and has a goo heart beat stoked!!!!
