Clomid !!

Thank's Kai. How Are You? x X x

I'm doing okay, thanks for asking :) I have a sinus infection that is kicking my butt right now! I just finished my second round of Clomid and am scheduled to start BDing tonight ;) Should be fun being sick and all lol.

DH had a SA, and we are awaiting his results which seem to be taking longer than expected to come in. So we are a little nervous about that.

Anything new with you, Jess?

Hello Girlie's,

Yesterday Was A Night Mare. While I Was Getting Dressed For Gyn App At 8pm, Honey Decided To Put Herself To Bed And Went Asleep, By The Time I Had Noticed I Couldn't Have Woke Her Up, So I Rang Round The Family To See If Anyone Could Come Watch Her But No Luck But TBH I Was Expecting That As My Family Would Have Kids To Put A Bed For School Next Day Or Work The Next Day & TBH They Live A While Away. So We Didn't End Up Going & I Had To Ring And Apologise For The Late Cancellation, But The Man Was Very Kind And Understanding. Just Got To Ring Back Today For New App As It Was Too Late To Book Last Night. I'm Not Really Gutted TBH. I'm Chilled. Me & DF Said It's Time To Stop Stressing And Just Let Things Come As They Go, If You Know What I Mean. This Morning I Feel Like I Got All The Energy In The World :D God Knows Why I'm Normally Feeling Dead Every Morning, But I'm Alive Today lol. x X x

Your Welcome Hun & Try Not To Worry Hun, Fx'd They Are Great Swimmers. Sorry To Hear Your Unwell, Hope You Get Better Soon. Good Luck & Fx'd For This Cycle OF Clomid, I Hope It Works This Month For You Hun. x X x

Hello all, I am new to this and was curious for advice or people with similar stories. I'm 25 years old been trying to conceive for 3 years now, I was diagnosed with pcos last year. The doctor put me on Clomid, first month 50mg but it didn't work so second cycle I got moved to 100mg, 4 months later I fell pregnant but sadly miscarried at 5 weeks. I was told just to carry on with the Clomid, 'it happened once, it will happen again' they said. Iv now done another 6 months of Clomid with no success :( I fear that my linning has thinned out too much in order for an egg to attach, I say this because my periods have gotten shorter and its like red water coming out of me(sorry bit gross) I'm at whits end, I feel cause of my age I'm not being taken seriously, if I'm struggling now what will it be like 5/10 years down the road. I'm waiting to hear if I'm getting an appointment to see where I go next.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Love to all xxx

Thank you so much :) I am glad that you didn't let things not working out get you down. The crazy things stress can do to our bodies and minds....

Hi, Danielle! Even though I am relatively new to this forum and to Clomid, I have to say that these ladies are so supportive and helpful. Even if they don't have all of the answers, they are very encouraging and easy to talk to.

I am sorry to hear about your journey TTC. It's not fair that you're not being taken seriously because of your age. All I can suggest is that you listen to your gut and your body -- if something does not seem right, keep pressing your doctors about it until you get answers and solutions that you're satisfied with. If you can't get that from your current doctors, look for new ones. You don't have to settle for inadequate assistance, especially with such a trying condition as PCOS.

Lots of luck to you and welcome :)

Shelly any news? Have they done another blood test to make sure your levels are doubling??

Sorry to hear about the appointment Jess, wishing you the best for this cycle.

Danielle welcome. I don't have pcos or will pretend I know how hard that is to deal with -sorry to hear about the trouble you've been having. With regard to thinning lining, you could try epo (evening primrose oil) for the first half of your cycle - it is meant to help with egg quality and lining I think. You are meant to stop at ovulation because it can encourage your uterus to contract - not something you want when you may get pregnant.

Andrea - thanks for thinking of me :) with the hcg shot they wanted to wait until its out of my system to do more bloods. I am going for bloods tomorrow morning, so will keep you all updated. No spotting yet, some pressure and bloating, gassy - good signs but still not convinced - probably wont be until 12 weeks maybe and that's a long way away.

Xox

I am 18 weeks tomorrow and still have fears and worry. I still check everytime I go to the bathroom for blood. I pray that you are able to relax and just enjoy your pregnancy. Can't wait to hear the update.

Hope all of you are doing well!

I can say that after losses... I'm still nervous at 32 weeks!

Shelley I'm soooo happy for you! And I wish you nothing but the best!

Andrea, Sarah and Alex how are you lovelies?! I don't get on here too much to actually reply.

Kel I hope you are doing well. I know how hard it can be. Your mom is watching over you now in a different way.

Erin how are you doing?!

Mackenzie is measuring on the large size now and they will be monitoring her growth.

Danielle maybe you could talk to your dr about femara? It is not supposed to thin the lining like clomid. That is what I am on now.

Shelley gl on your bloods tomorrow.

afm- I don't know what is going on with my temps! Not sure if it is because I just got home yesterday or what, but they are really low, and today it dipped below the cover line :( I know what the spike was about, was up really late with my friend and we had a fair amount to drink :) But I have never had a temp below the coverline before. Seems too early to be a good sign. Glad I'm getting prog tested on Monday.

Hi everyone, thank you for the nice words.

My hcg level has raised from 71 to 768, so doubling every 41 hours at the moment - hooray for good stats. I am hoping that this is it :) pleaaaase ;)

Don't worry too much about one temp out, kel. But I am also glad they're taking your progesterone because temps dropping early may mean you need progesterone support like me. Darn progesterone ;)

Thanks for the update crystal - big bubba is a healthy bubba :)

Sarah??? How is everything with you, how are you going?

Xo

Oh and I asked about the hcg shot being a category x drug and they said that they use it all the time in ivf pregnancies ( the fertility specialist I see works out of an ivf clinic). the nurse says it is just mimicking the natural hormones in my body and supporting the pregnancy. She also says many patients take those shots a lot further into their pregnancies and go on to have healthy babies.

It did make me feel a bit better.

So glad baby is snuggled in tight Shell. Im good, Madie turned 5 and started school which was pretty tough for me. She cried yesterday when I dropped her off. Needless to say as soon as I was out of the class room I was crying my eyes out too it was sooooo hard.

So my period should have been due today. Totally bizzar!

Kel your temps always look so pretty maybe changing it up is a good thing?

Those are great numbers shelley. :)

kel hopefully it's nothing to bad maybe a fluke. Hopefully your temp goes back up

Crystal time has gone by sooo fast. Your baby girl will be here in no time. :)

Afm- all day sickness has seemed to return. Very bad acid reflux an vomiting. So decided to take yesterday an today off an relax with a 4 day weekend. Last day of working will be the 29th. Hubby wants me to stay home, eat more healthy, an do more walking. Thank goodness he got me a treadmill texas heat is terrible. I know once I have my lil guy here I won't mind being a stay at home wife. Ill be kept busy :)

Hope all you wonderful ladies are doing great

Thanks ladies for the words of encouragement. Temp went back up today, still super low overall for my tww though. Always have to have something to worry about, right? lol I had a dream last night that I was 20 something weeks pregnant, but that I was still on here charting cause I was worried it wouldn't stick. :dohh:

Glad to hear your numbers Shelley! Stick baby stick!

Im freakin out im 14 dpo.

I took clmoid amd I dont have periods without provera, but ive heard if you ovulatr on clomie and dont get pregnant you should have a period if u ov,

How many days til I give up

Sounds like a good plan Alex :) your husband seems very supportive, what a sweetie. I hope with some rest the sickness subsides.

That would be an emotional time Sarah, no matter if it was your cycle or not. I get emotional sometimes just dropping Tyce at kindy and I'm not really an emotional person - just goes to show how strong a mothers bond with their child is.

Kel, hehe. I know it's hard not to stress - I've been getting acupuncture to help with my stress, it really helps me a lot. I was having insomnia because I was so stressed and one visit to my acupuncturist and I'm sleeping like normal again :) may be worth a try or massage or something?

Ninifay - if i were you I'd test! If you know you've od there is no reason not to :)
