We got some pretty devastating news recently. PCOS is the least of our problems. My husband's SA came back with too many problems to count. Low count (as in 500,000 live ones), no normal-shaped sperm, limited motility, etc. Our RE said there is an 80% chance we will have to do IVF. I am still trying to process all of this. 2013 just hasn't been too kind. I am sad, angry, and stunned. Needless to say, I am stopping the Clomid. I'll probably be keeping a low profile for a while.

I hope some of you ladies have better news this cycle than I have.

Funny thing, last month I had no af type cramps, which I always get before af and especially during. And this month I have had no sore bbs! LOL Something different everytime!

CD13 Today, Still No Ov Cramp's But Some Very Sharp Painful Cramp (Totally Diff To Ov Cramps), I'm Going To Use My Last OPK In The Morning, Fx'd It Will Be Positive lol, Otherwise I'll Be Dying To Buy More, But I Think It Might Be, As EggWhite CM Started Today & Serious Lower Back Ache... CD14 Today Still No Ovulation Pain's, Although I Am Having A Lot Of Cramping & Sharp Pain's & Egg White CM, But The Cramp's Are Just Not Like Normal Ovulation Pains To Me & OPK Was Negative, The Test Line Is There But Not Dark (Mid Kinder Colour), It Looks Like A OPK Result I Would Get 2 Days (Maybe 3) Before Ovulation, Although I Only Ever Do A OPK When I Get Ov Pains And It's Always Positive First Time, So Now I'm Thinking Ov Might Not Be Hear Until CD15 or 16... :S Good Know's & Now I'm Out Of OPK's... But Not Knowing Could Be A Good Thing. x X x

CD11: Watery CM, Cramp's, BD'ed PM.

CD12: Watery CM, Cramp's, BD'ed PM.

CD13: EggWhite CM, Cramp's, BD'ed PM.

CD14: EggWhite CM, Cramp's, BD'ed PM, NEG OPK.

CD15: EggWhite CM, Cramp's, BD'ed PM.

& That's Without Before CD11, But I've Made Sure I Covered W/CM & EW/CM Day's. Just Hoping I'm Going To Ovulate Or Have Already. x X x

Jessica, I used to o on cd 12 before clomid and then on clomid, I o'd on cd 16 so I bet today is your day! Fx'd for you!

Kai, I don't know where your located but have you considered Ivf abroad? It's much cheaper in places such as mexico and is still cheaper after you add hotel, air fair and spending money. Cancun is where we are headed for Ivf in march if I don't conceive before that.

afm, this was my first cycle off the clomid and I didn't o until cd 18! I have never o'd that late so I don't know if that's a good or bad thing lol. I'm 7dpo and we are taking the kids to six flags/san Francisco in the morning for 5 days and I'm going to try really hard not to test until sunday. I'm hoping the trip will keep my mind of peeing on sticks lol.

Thanks for all of the kind words and support, ladies Dawn, I do remember reading your previous post about Mexico. Nice that you can knock out two birds with one stone -- vacation and IVF! How did you do research for your course of treatment? If you don't mind me asking, did you try IUI before moving on to IVF?

No, I didn't try iui. My problem is my age. I'm old and so are my eggs so iui won't help me. I don't really have a problem getting preggo, it's staying preggo because of my old eggs that is the problem lol. I googled "Ivf abroad" and found a few places that way. I then emailed them and they emailed me info and gave me the number to call them. I feel really good about one of the clinics and doctor gayton (I think I spelled that right lol) seems to have a good record. I have two clinics in mind.
