[[Closed]] Let's ring in 2014 and see those BFP's!!

Sorry Katrina :-( :hugs:

A few weeks ago, I remember Julie saying something on Facebook about how vitex can interfere with Clomid. Since then, I stopped taking the vitex and also stopped taking my b6 and b12 vitamins only because I ran out. Here we are on cycle day 12 and I just got a positive OPK, six days before my usual ovulation day. Yeaahhh boooyyyy!

That's awesome Marie!! Fx!!

Katrina, I'm so sorry! I hope you get answers!!

Bb, I'm uninformed, too. I have read about baby aspirin helping prevent M/C but I dont know the specific timing etc.

I just want af to hurry up if shes going to come. I wish Dh was home for me to complain too.

So Dh took the insurance card out of my purse so I can't look up providers on our network. I found a great obgyn that specializes in fertility, and surgery 30 minutes away. I'm guessing he's not covered though. Of course they won't approve a doctor that's studied at Princeton.

Have you considered a midwife? My midwife ordered every test under the sun. She was very thorough and only referred me to the fertility specialist when she had done everything else she could. I never had to go the ob/gyn which was nice. It felt less formal and more comfortable. I found it way easier to talk to her than to my ob/gyn. One thing I want to point out is that my midwife was also a nurse and had her masters so she was more informed than the average midwife would be. I found her by googling reviews and searching online. :)

Not really, I will have to look into that too. Midwifery isn't as common here as it is in some areas.

Katrina, have you tried any of the TTC herbal teas? Like that Fertilitea (spelling?) I have heard great things about royal jelly, too, very good. I tried it for a few months but stopped because I don't like honey but hubby takes it every day because it helps the swimmers. Has great feedback. I might start it again if this cycle doesn't work out.

Just been to the Doctors. I started bloody crying! He can refer me to gynaecology for my other symptoms but not for miscarriage. I'm fine with that as that would probably pick up the problem anyway. He wants to run tests first. He's taken a urine sample today to check for infection and I'm having bloods done tomorrow and to go back the week after.

You have every right to cry! Glad you are getting some answers.

Marie- Yay for ovulating early!!!

Katrina- So sorry for the BFN, but I really do love your attitude. I hope the doctor gives you some answers.

BB- I am so sorry and you can cry as much as you want! My doctor told me that you can take baby aspirin at any time in your cycle and I did when I got pregnant this time. Not sure it actually helped, but I felt like I was doing something!

bb, I'm so sorry :hugs: i hope the new gyno helps you get some answers. Baby aspirin in a low dose apirin (St. Joseph's is the brand I usually buy)

Bad news nothing is covered insurance wise so all diagnosis and treatment must be paid in full out of pocket.
