Like you ay you know they're happy and healthy just by looking at them. I only go to the weigh in as I'm too scared to go to any baby clubs, it's the only way she socialises with other bubs, otherwise I probably wouldn't bother. xx

No of course you're not a bad mum! i haven't took Jayden for ages i just go by how he is in his self, obvs if he was ill or something i'd take him to the docs of his jabs etc, other than that i know his wellbeing more than some daft HV! (i appreciate they aren't all like that, the ones we've seen are, ie told me my 6 week old should be going 12 hours at night w/o a feed) x

I'm exactly the same! The only reason I know everything about Connor is because I get him weighed every month, which I only do because I'm too scared of going to any groups!
You're not a bad mum. If your babies were unhealthy, they wouldn't be such happy cheeky little darlings (who I plan on kidnapping

No of course not...we've never gone either! Well actually I went once when he was 1...but that was a 1 year check (not sure if they do them in england), apart from that...nothing, I go by the same theory as you! X

Gem, of course you're not a bad mom! Going to the doctors is everyone's personal decision, it's not mandatory! And don't forget, your LO's were born early so they should be doing what normal 9 month olds are doing! Don't worry hon, you're an amazing person and an amazing mom.

I have no HV. I don't go to the clinic. I don't know Shauns weight, height, percentile... I've got the same opinion as you, their happy, so I don't see a problem. So joining the 'bad mum' club

xxThanks guys, I just got meself a bit frazzled, I think because I always compare them to each other, and they're similar in their development and size that I think its ok, and then I see other babies and I'm like... OMG MINE ARENT LIKE THAT!!

I'm the same, don't get Ava weighed, go to the HV or docs
Last time I went the HVs put a big sign on the door saying 'babies only need to be weighed at 12 weeks, and 12 months' so I felt stupid and never went again..
From what I read on here HVs cause more harm than good really

God it's the only use we have for it!

Noooo don't feel like that! I haven't been since ari's jabs either, I only went the other day cus I have no idea how to or what weaning was so I wanted some advice but they just made me feel rubbish and was massive waste of time!! x

And I'm daddy apparently!! (OH likes to think they're talking to him, but really the twins are just thick and call me daddy and him "brubba" ...which i think means brother!) <<< yes my children are idiots!!

Noo you aren't a bad mom at all! We only get to go to the doctors at certain times unless they are sick and Arianna is rarely sick so I never know her weight.

Your not a bad mom at all. Every is different. With me I go whenever the doctor tells me too. There was a 2 week, 4 weeks, 2 month, 4 month, 6 month then I think it goes to 10 months or maybe 12. But each time we go she gets a shot so there is a reason for us going if she was just going to get weighed I wouldn't be paying to go.
