come on metformin i want a bfp

I have been on and off Metformin for about 3 years. Continuously for about a year. Except for a couple weeks this year that I had a really bad flu and could t keep anything down.

That is great that you stopped smoking!! Both you and the baby will be much healthier without it :)

Hey

Just been for my bloods, should get results in a few hours.

I am very tired today.... Yawn, Yawn, Yawn.

My mother in law, took me, because Hubby had to go and take the car away as he is trading it in for new 1...

I slept right through last night, for the 1st time in the past 2 weeks....

Hi Ladies

Just got my results:

HCG - 212

I go back again next Wednesday for another test.

And then on the 27th November for the 1st scan.

WOOHOO!! Keep the levels high! :)
I am jealous that you are able to sleep through the night.. I am CONSTANTLY tossing and turning in my sleep and the slightest sound will wake me up. It is very very rare that I have a good sleep and usually when I do I will sleep walk xD haha

Hey Ladies,

Iesha..... LOOK at that belly... How far are you now?? I remember, how you and Eb kept the faith for me, and kept on rooting for me, I just want to say THANK YOU...

Bab, I wish I slept through the night, lately I wake up at 3am every morning like clock work to go to the loo.... And then Im up at 6am again, because for the life of me I just cant seem to sleep any later than that, and then I am yawning the day away... LOL

I am also a very light sleeper, so any noise wakes me up,

I think Tuesday night was the 1st that I slept right through.

I am in the uncomfortable stage, because everything is still sore, so its hard to sleep at night, and I constantly feel like my tummy is stretching.... LOL

Eb, you have been gone for far to long, we need an UPDATE.

3wishes, THANK YOU :) Hope you well....

LOL tymeg, I know my belly is huge!. I'm currently just over 6 & half months. Yes each stage has its discomforts, I'm in a rough patch. I feel so much pain in my hips, back & pelvic bone when I lay down. Its very exhausting.

I just KNEW it would happen for you. You have a good spirit, I know god must bless you!

I cant wait for my belly to start growing,
Its already getting hard on the lower part... and its not like i have a flat belly LOL.....

Hey 3wishes!

tymeg, I am the same. If I hear the slightest bump in the night then I am wide awake! Lol I combat that issue by having a fan on next to my head. The white noise of it helps put me to sleep and keeps the sound away, for the most part. But the tossing and turning is the worst of it!

tryn4 you are looking great! I love pregnant bellies lol I can't wait to finally get my bfp and watch my belly grow :D

So I went to go see a friend today who had a scheduled C-section. She has a beautiful baby girl! :) I got to talk to her for a little bit and found out that she has PCOS as well though has managed to have two babies so far. I am a little jealous... Lol

I know so many ppl with pcos that have kids so don't u worry. There is lots of hope!

My main worry is that I won't be able to afford fertility treatment and will just have to keep hoping that metformin will do the trick some day :/ I would love to get on clomid and see if that works. I have heard sp many success stories about it!

Hey Babs,

My Gynae 1st started me on clomid, but on a low dosage and it is very inexpensive.
He monitored me for 4 cycles.
Only after that he referred me to a Fertility Specialist.
Where it becomes much more expensive.
Cant you speak to your gynae about giving you a script for clomid?

Yes here in Canada a round of Clomid is about $40-$50 so worth it. I took it but it hard to tell if it worked. A) I've been pregnant naturally 4 times b4 b) I got pregnant the same cycle I took it, so my doc was like yea you probably didn't need it.

hey iesha,

What did you use for the morning sickness??

Nothing luv. I had it really bad with my first, I lost a lot of weight and couldnt eat, but I just worked through it naturally because back then they werent quick to give meds. This time, It wasnt so bad, however I have never taken meds for it. Just eat small amounts, vomit if I have to, and when my appetite came back, I would just eat, vomit, eat, vomit. LOL. I have a friend who has it terrible and they give her some meds, but I was able to cope without for all my pregnancies.

I can handle the vomiting,
I hate the nauseous feeling, Ty says he does not want me to take anything for it, because he is scared it will hurt baby....
Dr did prescribe something, but it has horrible side effects.
The runny tummy is getting to me, but dr said its probably because of the metformin.

Yep, thats the met probably not the pregnancy. Are they going to have you take metformin through the whole pregnancy? When I stopped the constipation thats typical with pregnancy kicked in. I think u can make it through without meds. It will get better * hopefully* in the coming weeks. Is ty excited? What was his reaction?
