Comments on the Royal Wedding

Okay I'm a bit late on the Royal Wedding (I'm watching a rerun! I'm on the west side of the states and 4am was a bit early for me lol) but I am loving it! Its beautiful!!! I was wondering exactly how important this wedding is to you girls on the other side of the pond??

We aren't hugely in to our Royals usually, but this love story has captured the nations hearts hence the huge excitement. I think it helps that Wills and Kate are as normal as you can get under those circumstances x

It isn't really 'important' tbh but it's nice to watch. I think a royal birth is a lot more important as the baby would be in line for the throne one day.

Really lovely wedding, nice and understated for a Royal wedding I thought. Friends flew in the flypast and it was really nice he invited members of his Squadron along. Really liked the Aston Martin at the end too.

I loved watching it, Everything about it was beautiful. Her dress was stunning and she is gorgeous, and so elegant.

I want to be a princess!!! Lol x

I caught bits and pieces, Kate looked beautiful, both William and Harry looked great and I loved the private moments you saw them have every so often, like when they sat down and caught each others eye, grinned and tried not to giggle, or there second kiss, the first was done because of kiss chants, the second was when most people were looking at the fly over, and therefore more relaxed, comfortable and for them, iykwim.

Oh and yes the rule/law or whatever it is, is currently under consideration to change so first born to become King/Queen regardless of gender as atm it is first born son. They want it done before any announcements.

Nobody in England speaks the same, we all have different regional dialect just like everyone from America doesn't sound the same

I wasn't going to watch, but it was on when I woke up at 4am anyway to make OH's lunch. Kate looked absolutely AMAZING! Faviana is due to have a replica of the dress out in just a few hours apparently that is to be sold for under $2k. The first kiss must have been so nerve wracking, 2 BILLION people watching? Yeah, I'd be nervous too.

For me, it was like watching a Disney movie come to life. I cried during the ceremony, it was just beautiful. To think she's living that dream of a commoner truly getting to
become a princess, er, duchess.

I was watching on TLC and they said that people seem to believe Kate is more ready to be queen than Diana was. Now, I'm not sure how true this is because I was very young when she died, only 5 I believe, but I must say that Katherine looked truly elegant, poised and very royal-esq in my opinion. I also heard that they are trying to make it so that Will and Kate get the throne before Charles and Camilla.

It's so sad that Diana wasn't there to share this lovely day with them, he looks so much like her

I DVR'd it (it started at 100am here!) and am watching now. The guests are still filing in, but I'm so weepy my eyes keep filling up! I'm going to print out an article of the big day and put it in my pregnancy scrapbook.
