Confused - O/T Sorry!

Hello, Sorry its a bit off topic but im slightly worried!!

Could someone please explain to me what "You will be paid one month in lieu of notice, and all monies outstanding including any holiday pay will be paid to you" actually means?

Will i get holiday pay and one months pay or will they take a month from me?
I was due to start maternity leave next week but my final day has since been changed to this week! I was expecting March full pay at the end of April, will i still get that money?

"in lieu" means in place of, so it sounds like you haven't given notice but will be paid holidays that are left. Are you leaving your job or is it maternity leave?

I read that as you get one months full pay (ie march) and all outstanding holiday pay which you haven't taken as holiday. I think! (not bad for being half asleep)

Can you call HR to check? I think Emmy might be right though. I don't know why they can't word these things more clearly!

Thank you They said i will get my payslip in the post tomorrow that was it lol
I am due this months wages at the end of April, so im guessing thats the money i will be paid along with my holidays?! lol I hope so! xx
