Could anyone help?

Ladies i need some advice! posted this in TTC too

I have been on clomid for 3 months now, this month i was poorly so had to take it on days 3-7 instead of 2-6.
I was due on yesterday and AF didnt come, so just did a test and its negative!

So now what? why didnt i ovulate? and do i now just have to wait until the witch shows up to start clomid again??

i wouldnt of thought taking it 1 day later would stop me ovulating?!
so angry at myself for some reason

Hi,

Because you took the pills a day later, they won't stop you from ovulating, they may just change when you ovulated.

If AF hasn't showed up a week after she was due and you don't have a BFP, call the doctor who prescribed Clomid to you and tell the situation, more than likely you will be
asked to go for a blood test.

thanks ladies
i went to the hospital, managed to get a cancellation appt with the consultant! yay!
I didnt ovulate this month, great.
So i have to wait for flo or if not here in 2 weeks to get a pill that makes me start period! then i am to go for a hycosy to check my tubes etc as i reckon thats what is half the problem, then if all fine they will up my dosage if i still no longer ovulate on 50mg

at least i know the score now!

I never ovulated on 50mg either, they had to up my dosage to 100mg for months 2-4, which I ovulated on. Then I had to go up to 150mg and then 200mg because I didn't get a BFP.
