Cracker fillers ?

I am in charge of Christmas crackers for our old flatmates Christmas dinner. I have decided that instead of buying crackers I will make some.

I have bought cracker favour boxes (decided on these instead of regular cracker cards)

and now I am looking for ideas to put in them. So far my ideas are:

Christmas wine glass charms
Christmas novelty choc or choc coin
Party hat

Does anyone else have any ideas ? I dont want to spend to much as I have 8 to do. 4 men and 4 women

have a look at hawkins bazaar they have some good novelty bits. or £1 shop - nail clippers, hair bobbles, nail file, mini perfuem/aftershave

kinda childish but fun.. bubbles! You can get little ones in a champagne glass and theyre dead good!

You can also get the bubbles in a little champagne bottle too (I stole one from the VIP area when I went out with mates last weekend ) They are super cute! Jokes... They are always good in crackers although some are just not funny!
