Cytotec or vacuum aspiration?

Slg, it only took me a couple days to get back to normal. But I was SUPER short with the kids for 3 or 4 days after. It definitely sounds like you have an amazing husband.
I'm currently 7dpo. So I'm waiting not so patiently until Wednesday when I plan to start testing.

Hi ladies, I'm so glad I found other woman that are going through the same path as mine. My story is diff though as I opted for a D&C because seeing my sac traumatised me with my 1st mc. I had my d&c done 2 days ago. Iam still hurting but reading your posts is making me feel better as I can see that miscarriages do happen in life and I should not blame myself for what happened. Iam so sorry for your losses and everything you are going through. Stay blessed

hi mapha. I'm very sorry about your loss. I'm glad you found us. I'm not sure why people don't talk about mc more as it happens to SO many people. Once I started sharing what happened to me many of my friends told me that they had had mc too. Making a healthy baby is such a complex process; it does make sense that it doesn't go right every time. I hope that you are starting to feel better and heal from your DC. Are you planning on trying again?

Hi Slg, this is hard but diff not bring me down. I will try again but not sure how soon as I did not ask my gynea when I can start trying. I have a 2yr old son and thank God for him as he is a surviver. I suffered 2 mc's already. My 1st pregnancy and 3rd

I have a 3 y/o daughter. She makes this fertility journey and my mc so much more tolerable. I don't have a lot of time to feel sorry for myself and I have her to remind me every day of how lucky I am.

I have been thinking this everyday. I have a 10 month old daughter and had 2 miscarriages before having her. I just keep thanking god that I have her. I have an appt with my fertility specialist tomorrow who I saw when I got pregnant with my daughter. Last time I was on metformin and clomid and will hopefully be prescribed that again.

I hope your meds work for you again. I did three cycles of Femara+Ovidrel with no luck. Even with the medicine I only made one follicle per month. I actually got pregnant the month we stopped Femara. When I get my next period we are going to try gonal-f (a stronger injectable medication). I'm so glad that you also have a little one to help put a smile on your face :)

I'm so glad to hear that somebody else had an issue with being moody. I'm settling back down and feel a lot better. I had my aspiration 4 days ago. I've just been lightly spotting since. Just before the procedure my HCG was 20,000. I had an HCG done today and it's just over 1,000. Curious to see how much it will drop. My doctor does one every week until it's less than 5.

How is everybody else feeling this week? :flower:

My stomach under my rib cage has been KILLING me all day. I'm 8 dpo, but I think I have some trapped gas or something. I just had a couple tums. Hopefully that fixes me up.

First of all, sorry to hijack your thread for my update slg. I just want to update you ladies what happened to me and don't think it's worth creating a new thread.

I went to a different OB/GY last Saturday. Since I have no spotting and cramps so far, the doc advised me to go for a D&C. He did say that I could wait to miscarry naturally, but I don't think I can wait that long. I'm going in for a D&C tomorrow morning.

Don't think I'll TTC in the next three months. Need to get my body/womb healthy and strong first. I'll be devastated if I MC again. Glad that I've found a better OB/GY, he'll be doing some tests later to see if I need any fertility meds.

I'll check back here again. You ladies have been so supportive. Thank you so much! :hugs:

Hi Hopeforababy. I'm glad to have the company, no need to apologize for updating. You sound like you feel good about your plan. I'm glad for that. I also just couldn't wait anymore. I'm glad that I had my procedure done. So good that you are seeing a dr. you are comfortable with. I hope to hear back from you soon!

Am feeling good and nervous at the same time. My first time to go under general anaesthesia! Hahaha. Hope I don't get pain after the procedure.

I will definitely come back here. :) Thanks slg.

Hopeforababy, I hope your recovery is easy peasy. I think I had the vacuum type - I was awake, just drugged up - but I had no pain at all after and only a couple days of spotting.

Finally, done the D&C this morning. Everything went well. The cramps started this afternoon, not serious but very uncomfortable and they come in waves. It hurts though when I cough. Not much of heavy bleeding. Hope I'll be well soon and can't wait to join you ladies on the TTC journey. :)

Feel better! My cramps were pretty bad the first day and then almost gone the second. I hope yours disappear too.

Was feeling better, but having diarrhea today. There's some stomach aches too, am not too sure it's my womb that hurts or my stomach! And just hours ago was a little feverish, now I'm better. The good thing is the bleeding has stopped, only light pinkish discharge.

Thanks 3minions for asking.

sorry you aren't feeling the best, life. maybe you caught a stomach bug? I'm glad your bleeding has stopped. Mine too. Just a bit of pinkish discharge for me too. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm just having my first AF after my D&C.... Wow is all I have to say about that. Hoping this is only one of those 7 days things. Sheesh!

I've read that the first period can be really rough. Hope its quick for you, 3minions.
