TWINKLES80- Glad to hear your temps are staying up! How are you feeling today?

Mrstruth- How are you doing today, hunny? Any news?

Cindylou777- You are one day ahead of me! I'm 6dpo and 8dp-trigger today. I've been taking a cheapie pregnancy tests every day so I know when the hCG has left my system. The second line was barely visible last night, so I'm thinking it should be cleared out soon. I'm a bit of a POS junkie.

Hello pink my cycle this past cycle went from normal 26 days to today cd31 with very very light spotting I don't know what's going on, I am waking for a full flow and start my meds cd3 which is letrozole 2.5mg.
I am sorry prayer hopefully this cycle is the cycle that does the trick
Congrats twinkles80

Mrstruth- Ugh. That has to be so frustrating. :hugs: But maybe you are getting pregnancy spotting? It seems so weird that AF stayed away for so long without a BFP. Some ladies do have several days of light spotting where their period should be before they get there BFP (because progesterone levels dip and then have to recover after a late implantation), so I will keep you in my thoughts and hope you have answers soon. Either way, I know you will be happy to just have an answer!

So af picked up later that day she isn't as heavy as you normally be but she is medium. So this is cd2 and I start my meds tomorrow

Congratulations Twinkles! So happy for you! Praying that everything continues to progress normally. Please do keep us updated.

So, guess what... another cyst! I am so discouraged. Since we started seeking help from an RE for our infertility, I have been able to receive treatment for literally only half of my cycles! All I've ever wanted in life was to be a wife and a mom. Such simple goals... or so I thought! But now I am truly starting to lose hope. I'll be 30 this month and my ovarian reserve is already low for my age. Time is definitely not on my side. I will never lose my faith in God, but right now I just don't understand why God would allow this to happen to me; to so many of us.

Thanks for letting me vent. You guys are the only ones who truly understand and can relate to what I'm going through.

Pink I started my meds yesterday and today is cd4 meds day 2. I am really excited about this entire process. And maybe this entire change in your cycle could lead to a positive .

Twinkle when is your first scan? Congrats again

Prayer you ask the same thing I ask monthly, I just don't understand why I can't just fall pregnant with our beautiful :baby:

Hi ladies:

Sorry been Mia just very worried :(.. 42.5 hcg was told it was a little low, but blood test again tomorrow. Then had some brown spotting today.

I hope each and everyone of you are doing ok.

Mrstruth- Ugh. Sorry she got you hun. I was really hoping she was going to stay away. Is today day 1 of meds? Which ones are you taking this cycle?

TWINKLES80- So, how you feeling today? :) Has it totally sunk in your PG yet?

Prayerful- Oh no hunny! I was really hoping you would be cyst-free this cycle. :( I know how you feel about age and whatnot. I will keep you in my thoughts. I hope your cyst resolves quickly and painlessly.

AFM: (But related to Prayerful's post) I always told myself I'd be a mom before my 30th b'day, and this is my last cycle where that would be possible. If I don't see a BFP in the next few days it just won't happen. If I got a BFP my due date would be the week after my b'day so close enough! I'm not feeling very positive though. No symptoms at all! Normally I have PMDD from 4dpo on, and this month, NOTHING. BB's aren't even sore! And they usually kill me. Hoping it's just my hormones balancing out. Maybe the metformin is having an effect?

Sprinkles, I was where you are 9 months ago. I wanted to be a mom by the time I was 30 too. When I hit the mark that made that goal not possible I got so depressed. I don't think I've fully recovered from that feeling. But I moved on as best I could and set a new goal to at least be pregnant before I turned 30. Well, that obviously isn't possible now either! I guess my new goal is to be pregnant before hubby turns 30 in November. I'm praying that at least you will be able to meet your goal!

Twinkles, so sorry to hear the hcg was a little low, but praying hard that tomorrow's blood test goes better! Keep us updated. :hugs:

TWINKLES80- I will be keeping you in my thoughts and sending lots of hope and love your way. I truly hope you see some better numbers tomorrow, and that you are able to rest and relax for now. :hugs:

Mrstruth- Thanks, Mrs. Me too! Which meds are you doing this cycle?

AFM- DH and I have been talking about treatment options and I think we are going to switch from Clomid to Femara next cycle. (If we don't get a BFP first, that is...) With the Clomid, CM was fertile at O, but there was very, very, VERY little of it- almost nonexistent. And this past cycle my uterine lining was very thin after the first round of Clomid. If they hadn't had to give me another round of Clomid and then wait for the follicles to finally develop, my lining wouldn't have had time to grow enough to be suitable for pregnancy. So even if I O'd after only one round of Clomid next cycle, there might not be enough lining there for implantation to even happen.

Everything I've been reading says that those side effects don't happen with the Femara because it clears the body so quickly. Pretty much once you take your last pill, the Femara is totally out of you system in 24-48 hours so that lining and CM can go back to normal development. It also means no nasty side effects for the next week. I found some research out of Canada that suggests a higher success rate with Femara over Clomid, as well. With all of these good reasons to switch, I don't think we have any reason not to.

I actually started off with Femara, then switched to Clomid after not getting pregnant on the Femara. You are right, Femara has much fewer side effects for the majority of people. Thankfully I've not had any side effects with either med but I know that is not the case for most people who take Clomid. By God's grace though, you will get your BFP this month and not have to worry about switching meds!

Twinkles- I am so sorry that your test was lower than it should be. praying so hard that you get a better result tomorrow.

11 dpiui... only 3 left until testing.. I am way tired and my bb's are so sore and heavy I wanna cry when I take my bra off (sorry) and heart burn might as well be my middle name, i am a little bloated.... a few twinges of pain here and there... PRAYING SO HARD right NOW!!!!! Please God let this be our month.....

Thanks ladies!! I feel better as of this am. Ff changed my o date and I'm only 10 dpo. So I'm hoping this is why. Going to dr soon so we will see!

I hope you girls are doing ok and staying strong

TWINKLES80- Oh I do hope it was just a FF error and that you see some beautiful numbers today! I will make sure to check in this evening and see how things go!

Mrstruth- You'll have to let me know how the Femara goes. I'll probably be starting it in a week if I don't get my BFP. (I'm really doubting this cycle worked.) I'm excited to try something new and would love to hear how your body responds to it.

Cindylou777- I am keeping my FX'd so hard for you, hun. Just a couple more days until testing!!

Ingodshand- How are you doing today, hun?

Prayerful- Did you ovulate well on the Femara but just not fall PG? I've O'd twice on Clomid now, and something just doesnt feel right about it, like my intuition is telling me there is just no way it will work. Is that how you felt on Femara? I've heard that it one doesn't work for you, the other often does. I so hope we both get out BFP's be our new goal dates. I am resetting mine to be pregnant by 30.

AFM: I spent last night figuring the Femara and u/s's into the budget for the next 7 month- so 5-6 cycles. DH and I have decided that we will go the IUI route sometime in the next couple cycles, but we will do it ourselves at home so as not to incur the steep rise in cost. Because of how our insurance works, having the doctor do the IUI would cause the insurance to stop paying for any treatment at all and take our cycle cost from around $300-$500 (where it is now) up to $1600-$2000+ a cycle. We can do B2B IUI's at home for only a few hundred dollars, saving $1000+ a cycle.

I guess the other half of it is that I'm having spiritual issues with having a doctor do the insemination. This is the main reason why we called off the IUI last month. I'm not sure what part of it bothers me precisely, but I strongly feel that, for me, I am just not okay with having the doctor do it. If my husband is able to do the IUI,I think I can do that. (My husband has had similar reserves last month, hence our joint decision.)

I've found several guides online on how to do an at home IUI (apparently it's rather common and really easy!) and lots of personal accounts of people doing them, so I am not worried about trying it. As long as everything is sterilized and the sperm are washed, there is the exact same chance of infection as in the doctor's office. All the supplies are available online and the sperm bank will do a wash for us for only $100/per IUI. If we got a hotel room nearby, I don't think we'd even have to pay for freezing/storage. Our RE would still do meds/monitoring/trigger, so we would know exactly when to do it. I'm thinking this may be our best option and DH is on board.

If we are not pregnant by my birthday in September, we'll begin the process of saving up for IVF. If it does get to that point, I am willing to let the doctors do whatever they need to do to make a baby happen for us.

Has anyone else considered this route or know anyone else who did?

I'm so excited to tell you ladies that it more than doubled. Thank you lord..

Sprinkles, with all this excitement I haven't asked about you.. how are you? and where are you at in your cycle? I could keep reading but at work at the moment so I sneak in here every so often..

Twinkle I am so excited to say Congrats to you and your hubby
